haven't watched it in years... mainly because I haven't had network TV, but I do now and still haven't.
I just got on here because its the most recent video. Screen Rant I disagree with you saying that the horror movie crossover of winnie the pooh and mickey mouse is why the trend of childhood horror stories need to stop. I think its gonna be great and awful at the same time to see twisted versions of characters we grew up with and I cant wait to see what all they have planned.
The simpsons has a way of retiring characters when voice actors die, I wonder what'll happen when the core family start to pass

Season 35 was an improvement to Season 34 since it was pretty much a mix bag for me, but the 750th episode was very disappointing since Lizzo was part of it.
While I do enjoy Modern Simpsons, but majority of them were hit or misses. But I do hope this show gets a proper ending once James L. Brooks retires from Hollywood.
This is saying absolutely nothing. Anthologies have always been part or the Simpsons, but outside of Treehouse of Horror, aren't done that much, and character development has been happening for literally the shows entire history... There are some very solid episodes this current season, but it seems attributable to decent pacing and smart writing.

It's no different than it has ever been, and there are still treehouse of horrors every year. It's still experiments with different styles. There was an anthology but a couple seasons ago with modern TV shows. This video is full of crap.
