    Very decent light. It's just got a good feel in hand, well made and fun to mess around with it. I didn't realise you could disarm the lockout until I read some of these comments! The user experience got so much better with it turned off. The press and hold for moonlight mode for a quick stealth check, or just one click for low, medium or high light whichever you last set it to. Then you can skip between those just holding down on switch. Double tap for turbo or 3 clicks for strobe. It's super easy to use and great for tactical situations. The light is super bright with a dazzling clean bright look. It's definitely worth the money.

    That is a great light for the price. Not 100% sure but I think the tint variance listed on the box is based on that size of LED. When its in low 50 lumen it will be warmer, 5200 lumen will be more neural. Smaller LEDs have less tint shifting.

      There is no rule. In the case of SST20, SST40 and SST70 diodes, they also have a different color in low modes than in high modes, and these are small diodes. SST20 at low is yellowish, SST40 and SST70 greenish.

    • @stefanp5261

    • @practicalguy973
      @practicalguy973 Před rokem +2

      @@stefanp5261 Yeah I have some of the original SST-20 from many years ago in a couple of my flashlights in 5000k and 6500k and they are very green in low modes. One is really bad that uses a quad LED setup forcing the LEDs in lower state more often and so it's really green, it's more neutral when I'm pushing above a thousand lumens. The larger bin LEDs I have XHP50.2 and XHP70.2 are worse to my eye but I only have those ones as examples. The Osram cslpm1. tg seems to be one of the best, it's 6000k but it's a snow white tint and doesn't tint shift as much to my eye. Its also not that bright maxing out around 1000 lumens so that might be part of the equation. Everyone is focused on brightness and 5000+ lumens these days but I use my flashlights mostly in low and medium modes!

    • @practicalguy973

    That auto-lockout instantly stops it from being a tactical light in my opinion. If you need to pull it out and use it it won't be operable. For a tail switch tactical an auto-lock makes no sense and definitely kills it for me. Otherwise, it's an extremely impressive light for non-tactical use.

      They have since updated the UI with the ability to disengage the auto lock.

      I think your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer directly. I know they are very good about working with customers. They should be able to take care of you. If they don't, let me know, I'll hook you up.

    There was a lot of blah-blah-blah, that may be has a very important staff in it, but the main goal of People who watch a clips about the flashlight, is to see the real work of it in the dark. And that was some about 1 or 2 minutes of all this clip. Why? Why so many words?

      We like to give real world impressions as far as what the light is capable of, as well as our description of the feel. We like to talk about our likes and dislikes and in my experience, the best way to do that is words.
