  • I wanted to see if it was possible to achieve good quality brisket on a rotisserie. The Kamado Joe Joetisserie basket was perfect for this experiment. How did it go? We'll have to wait and see as I had to cut the experiment short but I'm definitely keen to try again soon!

BBQ guy from Houston Texas. We have our ways here of course, but Id love to experiment with this as well. Thanks for giving it a shot and i'm sure you will figure out the best way to do it. Thanks for video. It's all about experimenting.

Like the idea of using a split to hold the charcoal back and doubling as the smoking wood.

    Oh My!
I cooked a rib roast today with some Sucklebusters rubs on it, on my Weber Summit Charcoal, using my FireBoard system you got me to get. Delicious as always! Using charcoal is always an experiment. :-)

I think you should wrap it in foil once you hit the stall. You'll need all the moisture you can get.

Never foil on a brisket for me only ever butcher paper. But anyway cant really do either cooking direct.

Worth a try! Would welcome some more rotisserie videos if you can be arsed. I think I'd like one but worry it would just sit and not get used...

Shame you couldn’t wrap it and then hot hold it until you needed it….

Would have been better but then wouldn't have an ending to the video. I'll tweak what I did and will definitely try again! Just because I can!
