- "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is making fans keenly aware of just how much of the web crawler we've seen on the big screen these past two decades, with (as the trailers revealed) villains from the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb Spider-Man movies making an appearance (along with some other multiversal surprises). One of the side effects of Doctor Strange's spell IRL has been the intense nostalgia fans have been having for all-things-Spidey, including Webb's often-overlooked "The Amazing Spider-Man" duology, starring Andrew Garfield. Tom Holland is a fan favorite in the MCU, but Garfield made an excellent Peter Parker, and worked hard to look the part. Here's how Andrew Garfield got ripped to play Spider-Man.

Do you think Marvel will bring in Andrew Garfield for any future films?
I hope we can get it
no
I believe they already have
Nope
Yes
He does have the ideal Spider man body type, slinder and ripped. Andrew is an under rated Version of Spidey 💯
Agreed
Facts
He's the best in my opinion
2:51 the best highlight to know the fact that it was Andrew doing that web swinging.
It’s actually quite very realistic for Andrew Garfield have a gymnast physic, which fits for what Spider-Man really is, a athletic parkour type of superhero.
As a Parkour athlete and former Gymnast, I always thought it was so cool seeing those elements used in a Spider-Man film
Andrew already has a swimmer's body. Now I find out he skateboards & is a flexible gymnast!? 🥵 Plus, he's a great actor. The Amazing Spider-Man movies didn't get enough credit.
He was more lean and toned than Tobey who got jacked.
I prefer lean and toned over looking jacked any day
@@swiftstreak98 agree
Andrew is the best Spiderman,period.
Yep
Best Spiderman Ever in live action. No one comes close to Garfield, not even Tobey. Tobey's films are highly overrated and provide a wrong notion of peter parker's origins, his fans are obnoxious and biased. Andrew is most accurate, flexible, agile, wise cracking, smart of the bunch. Tasm 1 is a great film and tasm 2 as bad it is, blows sm3 outta the water. Spiderman 3 is worst spider-man movie next to ffh.
He's actually my favorite Spider-Man.
That's really impressive and what I call commitment :)
All the work he put in to be called shit all the time I feel bad for him
No one sh*ts on him they sh*t on the movie.
@@Damienp3902 na I have seen people calling him the worst spiderman ever the worst Peter
I would prefer to play the role sober myself, but Andrew's wild like that
Oh, I thought he just became buff as soon as he got the role.
His Arms At The End Of The First One Speak For Themselves. You Can See Muscle, Veins, And Definition. His Spider-Man Was More Lean And Shredded In The First One. Plus His Suit Looked “Amazing”.
Ever thought why the fandoms consistently argues about which spiderman is the best and which one is the worse? Because there is no worse spiderman. All three of them are spectacular in their own way.
1:24 So wait a minute he was a gymnast just as Tom Holland???? Really???????
Wow. Andy really got denied a legacy by not getting a third movie.
He is the best Spider-Man. Please Sony #MakeTasm3
Good video
Before NWH i always despised Garfield as the character. I was wrong.
Glad you realised
You aren’t alone homie
Before I used to despise Toby for being overrated but now after seeing no way home I feel a little differently (Andrew is still my favorite though and Willem Defoe is and always will be the greatest Gobbie ever)
Looper is a great channel
Didn’t William Spencer do the skating?
It's not hard to get ripped when you're only 160lbs to being with 🤣
Exactly
I completely disagree. When you're naturally lean with a fast metabolism, it is a fact that it's harder to build muscle than it is for a bigger person to lose fat to get ripped.
@@DJJunBuggIQI Read again. I will agree it's hard to build muscle when your skinny.
What I said was it is easy to get RIPPED when you're already skinny. Ripped as in defined muscle. No bulking. Which is all Andrew has really.
In the first film he was 143lbs in the second he gained an extra 22lbs (165lbs)
@@swiftstreak98 not bad. Props to him
He didnt do all the skate tricks.. Ryan sheckler did the big ollie at the end
cool
good
BUT I AM LOOKING FOR THE evidence LIKE A CLIP OR VIDEO. I JUST CANT BELIEVE AN ARTICLE 😥
Let me guess..BROCCOLI AND CHICKEN BREAST😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😅
♥️🍀♾🌻🙏he’s amazing - what do you expect?
How? He just worked out and ate right simple as that dumb question if you ask me.

I like a little more bulky spider-man
Spiderman usually isn’t bulky he’s thin and muscular most of the time.
@@Damienp3902 its just my preference
First one ig...🙂
I’m fourthh
First
But he will never do the spiderman role, again! never ever
