Actually, King George bit this off a gospel group. If you go listen to The Williams Brother's hit, "Still Here" (came out in 2019), you'll hear the foundation of this song. King George just sped it up a little and gave it a thumping kick drum. Being a preacher's son that DJ'ed for 15-years, I immediately heard the similarities. This is how gospel groups did it back when I was a shorty and the Williams Brothers are a group of men around my age. So yes, they have been around awhile, which is why it has an old school feel.
