Funeral services for Telitha Hinton, 94, of Downsville, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Providence Baptist Church in Point, Louisiana. Bro. Louis Bartet will officiate. Interment will follow at Acree Cemetery, Point, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
Telitha McLeod Hinton was born on May 22, 1930 and passed away on July 3, 2024, in West Monroe. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the Quilters Guild Organization. Telitha was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Hinton; parents, James and Rosa McLeod; brothers, Robert McLeod, Henry McLeod; sisters, Jimmie Patrick, Rosia Lee Taylor and Alva Tidwell.
Telitha is survived by her sons, Eddie Hinton, Stanley Hinton (Paula), Ray Hinton (Angela); daughters, Barbara Moreland (Charles), Frieda Tilley (James) all from of Downsville, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other cherished extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Josh Hinton, Caleb Hinton, Brent Bearden, Chris Tilley, Jeremy Hinton, Steven Hinton and Heath Hinton.
