Cody Luis D Believe it or not, this was the 17th time in MLB Playoff history that a pitcher gave up 3 or more runs in the first inning while only recording 1 or fewer outs, but only the 2nd time that that same pitcher's team went on to win, with the 1st time being Game 7 of the 1925 World Series, which the Twins also lost, back when they were still the Washington Senators, losing to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

I got to see my team Lose 103 games in 2016. Then bounce back in 2017, to win 85 games and make the Wild Card! (First team to do that in MLB History!) Couldn’t be more happy for them! Next year, Win Twins!
