I'm no mechanic but i like to tackle small projects, especially when they are Spyder related. I sell a lots of backrest on our website and now with the modified Spyder Shop we're expecting a certain amount of walk-in clients and riders, i wanted to get some practice at installing and my client offered his Spyder, a 2017 RTS for me to use and make an install video. He was suppose to install himself but wasn't sure so we traded his Spyder for a few days for an installation, works out great for everybody.
Please, don't take these videos too seriously, i certainly don't, what i mean is that i'm having fun, i try and be as accurate as possible but there's no pretension here, all feed back is welcomed and will help make me better. Feel free to ad your grain of salt. This is part 1 of 2 and i'm already editing the second part with should be done later today or tomorrow.

When I installed mine I removed the back rest to make it easier to get to the hinge bolts on the seat. Removing the backrest is very simple.

Where can you get a replacement seat plastic piece that was removed and cut in this video? I cannot seem to locate a part number or the part itself anywhere. Thx!
Haha wife RT already has back rest . But I like that bike lift .
