I was born in the '50s and lived during America's prime. I love their version, but yours is just as good. Awesome vocals and the harmony was fabulous. The instrumental ability you guys have is on a professional level. I wish you well¡!
I have the original LP for about 8 years and am 30 years old and love every song on it. I recently found out my 85 year old grandpa loves America. It just goes to show ya, no matter how old you are music has no age limit to it.

And let me just say, there is something classy and professional about taking out a curse word and replacing it with a family friendly word that people don't mind children of all ages listening to. You don't HAVE to curse - there are other adjectives available and it definitely does not take away from the quality music and talent you've just displayed here. Well done on this one.

I couldn't imagine this song working with an electric main guitar. I was wrong. That 370 Rickenbacker was up to the task! The young man singing lead does Gerry's voicing proud. Nice job with this song as a group. Good instrumentation and harmonizing. Loved the background activities in the video! I could almost feel the sunshine and smell the burgers. RIP Dan Peek.
I learned to play this by ear only chord perfect in 1975 when it 1st came out. You guys smashed it. Great work. Loved it. Brought back so many memories. I cried 💜😍
These brothers do a fine job of covering this song! I had to laugh when he said, darn instead of damn and as i listened, i realized i had sung it that way when i was his age as well, but that was 1976 for me. Loved it.

I accidentally found this link because I was hoping Rick Beato had a breakdown of what makes this song so great since he put it on his list of top 20 singer-songwriters list. But that didn't exist and so I clicked on this because the production looked professional enough and something about your coffee intro gave me this vibe that whoever I was about to hear play were good. And you lived up to the hype. This cover is as good as the original maybe better.

First heard this cover on August 28th 2023. Fantastic. Sister Golden Hair came out when I was in High School. What great memories this song brings back.
Even sounded a bit like Gerry Beckley in the beginning when he started singing......very impressive. The timing of the song was almost perfect, even all the way down to the tambourine. Double Thumbs UP!!

This song was a Big Hit when it was first on the charts and I see no reason you guys can not have a Chart Hit with your version, so nearly identical to the original. It's great when someone does a re-make of a song without wrecking it ! In watching your video my thoughts go somewhere in between The Partridge family and The Beach Boys in their earlier days, and I mean that with all compliments. Many of your fans may not have heard the original Hit so to them your version is something New !
