Fun Fact: Ahnk-Morpork is a parody of the city Lankhmar, the central location of the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series, which itself somewhat parodies Conan the Barbarian type fantasy (Though it very much does more then that too) So its a Parody of a Parody. Would recommend the Lankhmar books, they have the occasional dated aspects (not as much as Conan obviously, the main characters are actually likeable) but it is fundamental to much fantasy and comedy- fantasy that came afterwards.
