Thanks for supporting my music, I’m so grateful and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information💜💜
+tubeyouall2 I also want to mention, Joe Walsh basically gave the Eagles these songs he wrote solo, to either play at concerts, or put on their albums like the Long Run: Rocky Mountain Way, Walk Away, All Night Long, In the City, Life's Been Good, Funk 49, all hits, all written solo by Joe, and some others too. At the Eagles hall of fame induction, all Joe Walsh said was "Thanks guys for all those songs you wrote." Humble guy and under-appreciated. Sad that Don Henley will put his name on all of Joe's songs, but if Joe plays "Desperado" at one of his solo gigs Henley freaks out and almost sues him. Shows who the cooler dude is really
Sky Edge Yes, Joe is my favorite for sure. Saw the Eagles in concert a few years ago and I am thankful that I did. After Freys passing they may be done. FYI, Joe is going to be touring solo with Bad Company this spring/summer. Today, I purchased a VIP/Meet and Greet with a front 1-5 row seat for the Kansas City concert. It took my car payment but I will catch that up. After Frey's passing, I am not going to miss out. You may want to check his tour locations.
+Sky Edge Joe said the Eagles was the best band he ever was in. He loved that band. I always thought he was the guy that made the Eagles sound distinctly like The James Gang. They were a good band...Joe made them more good.

One of several most famous and loved Joe Walsh's riffs while with the James Gang and Eagles. He will always be my favorite guitarist during my lifetime in the 1960-70s. What a wild ride. 🎸☮️✌️❤️
I admit that I enjoy listening to the other original music version of Life In A Fast Lane by the Eagles, still this live version of Life In The Fast Lane by Joe Walsh is also musically thrilling to listen to.
Joe Walsh is a talented, flawless genius and a legend that is a cut above the rest! Thank you Joe for always putting a smile on my face and warmth in my heart and sharing your never ending expertise in your music..You mesmerize me in every aspect and performance.. God has truly blessed us! Keep Rockin🎸🎶🎶 Much love and God bless you always Joe 😇🙏👼💝✌💋💕❤❣

Was on that lane for years an it was fun. Then you reach the end of the road an crash. An it can be a rude awakening. Have 23 years clean an sober now. Reality seems to be the strangest trip ever. I wish now that I would have said NO at the start
The original song is blocked or pulled down, this is the closest we've got! It almost seems more natural for Joe to be singing it, it's hard for me to buy Henley singing a hard rock party song, lol
them back up singer the guy and girl fucking sound amazing.bass player is killing it to as well as that backup guitarist that riff hes doing is cool as shit! love this version!
+Steve Rowloff Yeah - the guy totally rules that guitar. And just to think, he was always afraid of being "exposed" as incompetent. Why do geniuses have such low self-esteem?
+honeybear64 He probably isn't as good as he wants to be. Likely he does';t think he's as good as we think he is. Like we all should think about ourselves.
+honeybear64, probably because the lead singer and lead guitarist often take the majority of the acclaim. The bassist, drummer, keyboardist, etc get what's leftover. This was the case with the Beatles. And look at George - it's thought he developed depression.
i always loved the eagles when it was lovey-dovey because it always had that southern twang mixed with rock and roll.. joe walsh brought such a tough guy sound to the band that is made to be listened to while wearing a jean jacked and sippin a bottle of jack daniels.
Joe Vitale is a legend as well. Been with Joe since Barnstorm album. Joe played on two of his solo works as well. Helped cowrite some of Joe's best hits.
I am not a big Eagles fan. I can take them or leave them. But I am a HUGE freaking Joe Walsh fan. I would much rather pay to see Joe play all those songs solo, since I am sure he probably wrote most of them himself. Joe is an all-time great Rock n’ Roll guy
Thanks for supporting my music, I’m so grateful and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information💜💜
This version is called Life In The Fastest Lane
The Us Festival '83 performance is faster... ;)
Lol this cracked me up. I saw the comment first before the song played.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg soooo fast lol
Whooowee! Lines on the mirror....
Joe Walsh is a legit Rockstar
Grave Bodybag amen!
yep
Duh! Of the first degree
You don't say.
He's a household name in rock, brother.
When Joe joined The Eagles it immediately made them great and this LP a classic. Joe's one of our greatest guitarists & greatest characters!
The Eagles were great even before Walsh joined them.
@@markastoforoff7838 got better with him
@@markastoforoff7838 Joe Walsh catapulted the band to the next level.
I agree 👍💯
Facts
Rock 'n' Roll wouldn't be Rock 'n' Roll without Joe Walsh.
The Coke'd up rendition..Forgot he was with Stevie Nicks about this time..
too fast but GREAT SONG~!~!
Actually he seems less high here. Not slurring his words and sounds pretty good.
Who wasn't with Nicks.
is this early 80s? gotta see this whole concert
Well, she WAS terminally pretty.
All Joe's songs make me feel REALLY GOOD!!
Me too!!!
I watched Joe in Sydney with the Eagles back in whenever it was. He didn't disappoint. I've loved the guy's stuff since 1976. He's still a legend.
Thanks for your love and support ♥️❤️
When I was a young man, this was pretty much my theme song. But now I just marvel at how I survived it.
Thanks for supporting my music, I’m so grateful and I hope you never stop being a fan, I would like to honor you by giving you my personal information💜💜
Hell yea ted
Fuck yeah Ted
The greatest version of this song. Never loved this song until I heard this version and now it’s the only one!
I'm 31 and this is an awesome classic I didn't grow up on but feels like I did ❤️🔥
Wait till you're 59 like me
"Everything. All the time" 😛
Great rendition! Joe is definitely high and on the very top of his musicianship here!
He's truly a friggin master.
Joe Walsh amazing guitarrist, one the best guitar riffs on that song...
I just learned that riff, it's incredibly fun to play. You don't feel like stopping.
He's playing this intro way too fast
My favorite Eagle. Doesn't get the credit he deserves.
He pretty much wrote this entire song, and Frey/Henley took credit for it.
+Sky Edge
I would rather hear Joe sing it than Henley. Henley may have a better singing voice all around, but Joe does this song better, with an edge.

Just saw this performance...I'm obsessed!!
I went through all of high school in the 70's thinking this was a dirty song about "life in the Vaseline." I kid you not.
I mean, it's kinda dirty.
Yeah, that's the thing that tripped me up. The lyric I had in mind actually kind of works with the rest of the song.
Lmao wtf
When I was a kid I though it was "I feel the vaseline" ....weird haha
Lmao
Joe Walsh was excellent with the James Gang too, great guitarist.
Joe Walsh is among the greatest
Play it Joe Damn
Joe Walsh is amazing and such a legend.
This is COMPLETELY Awesome ! ! ! Thanks Joe Walsh & the Eagles ! ! !
The original song is blocked or pulled down, this is the closest we've got! It almost seems more natural for Joe to be singing it, it's hard for me to buy Henley singing a hard rock party song, lol
Can confirm. Just did a literature search on this song; this is the only originalish instance of it on YT that will stay up.
Why won’t it stay up?
Absolutely can't find it..😟
@@ricer7214 The Eagles don't want their stuff on You Tube. It's there and then all of a sudden it's gone. Joe doesn't care. He's glad to see it here.
Like I said when the eagles broke up and Walsh came out with life's been good , who needs the eagles we have Joe Walsh.
them back up singer the guy and girl fucking sound amazing.bass player is killing it to as well as that backup guitarist that riff hes doing is cool as shit! love this version!
Killer horn section
Go Joe go!!! The chops Joe has is stupendous!!
Loved to been at this gig.....Damn, he's killing it.
He sure is good 👍
I was introduced with James Gang. Hooked from then till now.
Made a mistake listening to this at night when I needed sleep.
The horns really take it to another level.
He’s amazing ! Playing and singing all out like that !
one of my favorite bands and I grew up in the eighties and I never knew until today what he looked like!
JOE IS A LEGEND!
Joe “the tempo is what I say it is” Walsh. What a riff, what a guitar god.

What a guitarist one if the greats of all time wow
Joe understand playing in a classical orchestra.
Nobody, I MEAN NOBODY, plays guitar like Joe Walsh!
Saw Joe with The Eagles at Wembley Stadium - awesome!
It’s definitely faster tempo, but somehow It might be the best music I’ve ever heard
Tempo a little too fast here
I've long thought the guitar part at 3:58 was referencing the Grateful Dead's "Casey Jones" riff.
Was looking for this comment! Agreed.
i love this song
Me too
La linea lirica es impresionante. Con la guitarra las notas "son un torrente de técnica dentro de la mejor técnica que existe tocando la guitarra"...
I am Joe Walsh's drummer reincarnate! Love to Joe.
I surely lost my mind by how fast they played this.

The mighty Joe Walsh shows his guitar prowess here. Love the staccato at about 1:01.
+Steve Rowloff, he has to. The song is flying by the time he gets to the first solo and it ain't slowing down. The second one is a blur.
+honeybear64, probably because the lead singer and lead guitarist often take the majority of the acclaim. The bassist, drummer, keyboardist, etc get what's leftover. This was the case with the Beatles. And look at George - it's thought he developed depression.

roflimjokes Joe Walsh was bigger than the Eagles(see James Gang) until he signed on with them. But he partied a lot.
