  • Tim shares his experience with hearing aids, starting with a mild hearing loss that led him to initially try a pair from Costco. Dissatisfied with their sound quality and fit, he returned them. Later, he tried Signia hearing aids, but faced similar issues with discomfort and sound quality. Eventually, Tim opted for Oticon Real hearing aids, which he found to be significantly better in terms of comfort and sound quality. He appreciates the ease of use, including their compatibility with a charger and glasses. Tim also touches on his struggle with tinnitus and how the hearing aids, while not curing it, help manage the condition. He emphasizes the importance of finding hearing aids that work well for one’s specific needs, even if it means experimenting with different types and brands.

Looks like you can use the domes, I have to have the fitted molds. Other than my loss being worse, I believe, my experience as far as corking the tinitus and hearing better in general is similar. I have Oticon Opn rechargeable but am looking forward to upgrading when I can.

If you buy from an online site, who will then be servicing you regarding after-sales settings, configurations and potential problems?
Why not just buy them from an audiologist office at full price which includes all the after-sales services for months/years?
