Oh man I remember this game! Super fucking hard back in the arcades and I had to spend a shit ton of quarters just to eventually reach the final stage. Breath of fresh air when I finally beat the final boss
Compared to the original this one is better. Unlike the original arcade version this one has an ending. It even reveals the main antagonist of the Galaga series who is King Galaspark.
I like that old-school arcade galaga 1981 nes namco galaga 1985 and nes namco galaga 1987 and i like that old-school arcade galaga namco museum classic arcade game galaga 1995

@@arronmunroe like i know you play coin required games but start with 1 or 2 so that way you 2 can play other games (its just me though) but just watch the amount you 2 use
I'm not quite following what you're saying. About how many credits we use continuing, we just use as many as it takes to get to the end of the game. This is a fairly difficult game, and I couldn't ask player 2 to start the game from the beginning to see if we could use fewer credits the next time.
My favorite version of Galaga, loved the performances from the aliens lol
If this ain't nostalgia then I don't know what is
THIS IS GALAGA BUT THE NEW KIND MADE IN THE NINETIES
masterpiece, used to play this with my bro all the time

Is it the original version or what!?
My brother and I played these before in a Washateria here in Spring, TX as kids!
The first still was always my favorite and was always fun to play!

I'm not gonna lie, the first theme made me tear

This is the closest we're gonna get to a Galaga bullet-hell.

I honestly beat this game a long time ago with a friend on the PlayStation 2…
The X-Box and PS2 versions were the best.
Damn why you kinda fine tho 🤭
I agree. We use to play this alot on the OG Xbox years ago. =D
@@retrogamer41_sepiamta Same here.
Stages 1-29 were relatively easy, it only took me 2 credits. Stage 30 costed me 5 credits, though.
wow
I was hoping at the end for FAT/COC
Challenging Stages:
1:28
4:31
7:43
11:41
15:01
This is a remaster or remake?
I would say it's more of a remake. This is called Galaga Arrangement while the first one is just Galaga Original.
how come you guys like to spend a lot of credits so fast
You mean at the start where I put in a bunch of credits? I don't see a reason to do that any slower.
