THAT POSTER MEANT: That the Old Man had "Nothing Left to Lose" in Terms of his own Personal Life: MEANING: THAT THE OLD MAN WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIS OWN PERSONAL LIFE (I.E., HIS OWN PERSONAL PHYSICAL BODY) IN THE COURSE OF HELPING OUT HIS SON AS BEST AS HE COULD--INCLUDING, IF NEED BE, SACRIFICING HIS OWN PHYSICAL HUMAN BODY/LIFE...

Absolutely. I’m a single father of three kids who are my entire world, and there isn’t a single thing that I wouldn’t do or sacrifice for them. If I had to give my life for them, it would be so automatic to not even require a conscious effort.

I'm sad that I didn't know him at all until he was 83 and I was 65 nursing him through Parkinson's doing 'everything' for him until 28th September 2020 he died. We were never close until the moment I carried him in both arms like a baby from the bathroom to his bed where after moments he died his only words "Lay me down Keith". I will always miss Mom and Dad.

Yea people say that deep shit then routinely put their own needs over their kids. I got high a few times with people talking that shit, you know how coke makes you talk - but words are so cheap. It's very easy to say you devote your life to someone or something. How many people cheat on their marriage? Like a quarter of em? Words don't matter, only action.
Look how many people have said to me. "If someone did something to my son/daughter/gf/etc I wouldn't be able to live with it, I'd kill them!"
And yet nobody ever does vigilante killings. Which is a good thing tbh, but it calls BS on it af
