no one's really sure about anything, needs a lot of "unbiased" open source research about many medicines include, in my case a moron of a cardiologist "a senior consultant" put me on beta blockers and another blood pressure medicine in 2020 just because my clinical heart rate was 92 and blood pressure was 133/82 which was normal taking in consideration driving in traffic and the waiting before my appointment, I've visited him because I was having little dizziness sometimes, he did the EKG, stress test and ultra sound which all came normal, even though he insisted on prescribing these 2 medicines, and for the first time in my life being a data analyst I neglected researching about the meds and once I started taking it I started to have symptoms like depression, chest pain, more dizziness, pins an needles in my hands feet and face, tiredness, erectile disfunction, and constipation, increase urination, went again to the same MD he changed the beta blocker into another formula, the side effects reduced but still chest pain and increase in urination also tiredness presented, one day I took my morning blood pressure to find it 92/56, I went to ER and they asked me to stop the blood pressure other medicine and consult my MD, after contacting him he asked me to stop the beta blocker gradually, and when I did I started to have pain like stabbing in the chest from time to time, wen back to him he asked me to take half pill, so it's almost 3 years now and still cannot stop this shit of a medicine, it screwed my hole life literally due to depression, and I knew lately that I have a middle ear issue which caused my dizziness at first place and that I have no heart related issues after a full MRI scan and multiple EKGs, 99% of these doctors sold their soul to the devil AKA "Big Farma", all they care about is how to make commissions out of selling us meds that we don't need!

Thank you for this. I just started one due to antidepressant withdrawal and constant panic attacks. I was really worried about weather this would do the same thing once I felt I didn't need it any more. I will definitely not be taking it daily. Maybe in emergencies but I am really very tired of being told medications are safe and then feeling like I'm going to die if I want of off them

With all due respect, Professsor Lacro people especially musicians and teens need to know about many more side-effects than 'lower energy levels' and 'possible depression'. I am shocked to hear that children are also being medicated when they can hardly know what they are doing to themselves? What about other side-effects like emotional detachment? The habitual effect? And not knowing how to control the dosage! Reduced libido in adults? Surely individual sensitivity must also play a role in doseage? What about after-effect mood changes? it's really a mine-field, isn't it? Of course people need to be duly informed that it is a comforting bandaid to address some physiological symptoms but cannot fix the root personal issues which remain. But how sad to have to 'deaden' oneself rather than take the path to discover one's true potential as a vibrant, naturally complex human being!

How the heck do you go from an Extended Release to a regular tab?? 60ER to 40mg tab? Man I’m going through some craziness here. I cut the 40 in half and take 20mg every 12 hours. Don’t tell me I need Xanax or something to help the downgrade process.....
