Fun fact: Jorah and Brienne are described as ugly in the books.
Facts
Ramsay too.
Yigritte: Somewhat uneven teeth.
Arya: Very long face.
Jon: A vertical scar across his left eye.
Tyrion: He has almost no nose and much uglier.
And he has a black eye.
He's not the son of Seastar...
Daenarys and Sansa are also WAY TOO OLD in these pictures. Daenarys was just a young teen in the books (which does make her marriages pretty ewww,) and so was Sansa. Jon Snow wasn't much older either, if I recall. Lysa was also described as being puffy-faced and bloated, and Brienne was described as kind of ugly - nowhere near as pretty as the AI made her.
@@Maerahn Margaery was also a teen, 14 to 16 no more
It's uncanny how all the actors look so similar to their AI counterparts of the character they play
Not really, when you consider that the AI itself uses input from millions of sources (many of them UNCREDITED ARTISTS, but that's a whole other ethical minefield) to create the database it draws on to generate the pictures. If as much of the source material is drawn from recreations of the actors in the HBO show as from the original books, the AI is also going to skew towards those representations as well.
This is actually spot on casting. I think they nailed it to be honest. They said it like it wasn’t good, this is damn good casting
According to the book? Or according to a.i.?
The AI is drunk
Didn't reed the books 😂
See him to his chambers
@@oldchild527 me or the AI?
@@teoxjfjwwlalwkfje17 The AI
Tywin should have glorious golden mutton-chops!
I'm sure Brienne does not appear as I remember her..
I guess the AI saw the movies ?
🤣
Looks cool but i can't say they are book acurate.
Baelish looked a lot like Benedict Cumberbatch
why they have very long neck?
Can't wait untill AI can do a remake based on the exact text from the books. How epic would that be?
the books don't describe Lyanna having a long ass neck hahaha
If what the AI did on this occasion is terrible
Lyanna, Ned, Jon and Arya all have the distinct Stark feature of a long sober face. Jon looks like Ned, Arya looks like Jon. Therefore Arya has Ned’s features. Neither Arya or Jon share features of Rob, Sansa, Bran nor Rickon. First born boys tend to share features of their father more than other siblings but Rob doesn’t. Rob is fiery….like Brandon Stark! Jon looks like Ned? L plus R equal J doesn’t hold up so well.
He could've very easily got the Stark genes from Lyanna. Genetics works differently in GOT, and the Targaryen genes aren't dominant, which is why they practiced inbreeding to preserve the classic Valyrian look.
But having said that, yes that was the biggest issue with the casting choices. They made Robb and Bran look too much like Ned. In the books, the only one of Ned's trueborn children who resembles him is Arya. And in fact, that's a big part of Catelyn's character building. One of the reasons she hates Jon is because she's heartbroken over not being able to give Ned a trueborn son who looks as much like him as his bastard.
Plus even in real life; platinum blonde hair and purple eyes are rare recessive genes that would be borderline impossible to get outside of inbreeding
@@splaar you theory is a bit messy. You’re conflating book descriptions with show casting. In either world if Jon is Raegar’s son, Jon doesn’t favor his appearance, shared skills in combat or singing or musical instruments or temperament. From what we know of Lyanna she is a bit wild. A maiden who may have geared up as a knight at the tourney at Harrenhal and disappears without fan fair but most certainly openly defends Howland Reed against hedge knights? That is some seriously ballsy shit especially for a woman. But Jon is reserved like Ned. His wolf is named Ghost-never makes a sound but always there when you need him-this is reflective of Jon’s character. Cat not liking Jon is a bit of a ruse. In the books she mentions only once to Ned a rumor of Ashara or a woman he favored who roamed the grounds of Winterfell and Ned snapped at her never to Jon again…why did he respond about Jon when Cat mentioned this woman some of the help whisper about? Also in the books why did Ned and Jon Arryn basically were press ganged into marriage pacts? Cat and Lysa are woman of a major house and marriage dowries don’t seem to be an issue in this universe so Hoster Tully could have married them to anyone (very prominent houses usually don’t marry because it creates land issues and power struggles). Besides House Tully really didn’t have a dog in the fight any way the rebellion went. In the books we know Brandon Stark slept around a lot. Good chances are he slept with Cat prior to their marriage. Lysa took care of littlefinger after his stupid duel with Brandon and may have a Florence Nightingale moment with him. Hoster found out, force her to drink moon tea and sent Littlefinger back to the Vale. Basically Cat was carrying Rob and Lysa was damaged goods.
@@davidhooper259The Stark children apart from Arya look like Catelyn, however Martin specifically wanted Arya to look very much like Lyanna, then he proceeded to make Arya and Jon very similar. That is a conscious way of implicitly stating that Jon is similar to Lyanna. At this point of the story Jon being Lyanna and Rhaegar's son is not even up to debate anymore
Jon should be a Ned clone; Arya should look like Jon; Sansa should be a Cat clone; Lysa a bit chubby; Jaime and Cersei should look a lot more a like but she needs a wine drinkers’ pooch; Ygritte needs crooked teeth and turn up nose
why do dany and jon look like adult models 😭😭😭
Yeah, they are supposed to look very young in the books...
And Sansa looks older than her mother
@@RantingMagpie
Yeah, they are supposed to look very young in the books
Lovely Ygritte!
0:24 wow
Looks like its taken directly from Spartacus lol. She looks just like Lucreatia.
Uhm. In the books , tyrion is kinda hideous and has no nose
Brienne and jorah are ugly...., and Jon and daenerys are not adults in the book.
Yeah, they are supposed to look very young in the books
The A.I I have seen so far tend to draw the women very inaccurate. Tends to make them gorgeous or "pretty them up and it is not even consistent in it. Caitlyn is beautiful if my memory serves right. The men seem to be random but the Tywin seems to be the most consistent.
Ygrite is not dropdead gorgeous like she is draw in this video. She is quite average, at best. Some might call her ugly by Westeros beauty standards.
The image on the left is of the GoT show's casting. The image on the right is what the AI drew. I wouldn't describe the AI's depiction of Ygritte as "drop-dead gorgeous." :D Actually, that image reminded me strongly of Pippi Longstocking...
1:02 Benjen looks like Keanu Reeves
why is podrick 6 years old?
Bro Melisandre excatly looks the same
petyr baelish so handsome....
Melisandre looks the same
Arya Horseface sure is a pretty girl here
why do all the women have such narrow faces
Wack
The AI versions are much better
All the women are ugly
Aside from Arya and Brianne, who ironically are the ones described as ugly in the books lol
