So you know that little metal tube that houses the wire harness to starter? Its bolted on back of motor. My wires were old af n were exposed touching that metal tube. Almost lost my Elco bro. Good thing I was near or else she woulda caught on fire. I happened to be working on my suspension n had it in the air.
Everything your going thru I just did too 😂 my car got on fire from the starter the wires were exposed bad lucky I had water around but yeah I was about to drive off with fire 🔥 👀 keep an eye on everything, can’t lose a sick ride for a few seconds , but trail an error is how we all learn ! The part number is # 3631N-PG you can get it at your local AutoZone , call ahead and have it ready for you ! Ima keep uploading parts numbers cus I know it a hassle to find parts ! Especially older cars it’s a HUNT FOR YOUR TREASURE 💯😅Thanks for sharing!
Yeah I believe so I been noticing all G bodies are soo similar just headlights and taillights are different , Also check the fuses under your steering column theirs a fuse that makes your car turn on even if you add all that, check all them out , I did all that starter , battery, but new parts help Spark plugs , spark plug distributor , new coil spark plugs ,
