Shakur style is fine. He out landed his opponent by 100 punches. He did not run. He stood right in front of him for 12rds. Just say you wanted a KO and move on. Stop trying to get that man to switch on whats working for him. He fighting within him limits he's not a sluggar. He not going in there chasing KO's.
He’s had the chance to get the knockout and he didn’t go for it. That’s a bad mindset not to say he isn’t one of the best . I only see tank beating him and it’ll probably be close but man I just wish he at least try to get his guy outta there when the opponent is hurt.
The problem is Shakur doesn’t go to the ko it’s not that he can’t do it. He fights in a way to lends it self to winning of points. Even when he has his opponents in his sites to put them away he doesn’t push for the finish. Which is why him comparing himself to sugar ray is even worse

Shakur doesn’t have to change his style he just has to keep winning and fight minimum 3 times a year eventually all eyes will be on him cause no one can touch him and he’s record will bring the fans to watch him, Not cause they want to see him or want him to win but to watch him get knocked out by someone else, he’ll be a villain to the boxing fans for a while but at the end he’ll be rewarded , Floyd did 😊

Yep, and that's why boxing has lost so many fans to UFC. Boxing is a business at the end of the day. What are they doing to bring more people to sport? Think about how the NFL/NBA has made so many changes from the 80s until now. Boxing needs to make changes, or fall to the way side🤷♂️

One misnomer is people seem to think frank and artem are equal or franks better which is why they compare the preformances of shakur and tank. Understand this is not the case. Artem took the frank fight on 2 weeks notice. He had a full camp for shakur. On the other hand, for tank he fought frank with a rehydration clause. So frank was an inferior version while artem was a superior version of himself.

I don’t think the Shakur fight was boring. Boring is a word used by ill equip minds incapable of delving a bit deeper than the surface emission of vanity. In other words, extenal stimulus is what they thrive on. Anything not flagrantly overt is marginalzed; classified as "boring."
Watching a person get a knockout in the first round or having a person tactically box through 12 rounds are equally as exciting to me.
Exitement is relative to the beholder just as boring is relative as well.
The people calling Shakur boring are the same people who would rather watch a movie than read a book. The severe seering of the minds ability to apply itself to something less preferable is non existent in their retarded psychology (with all due respect).
The sweet science encapsulates the gamut. Both brawling and applying the hit an not get hit principle applies to the sweet science. Boxing, though a brutal sport, possess beauty and elegance. I, as a consumer can appreciate the Davis vs Madueno fight and appreciate the Shakur and Artem fight as well. Similar to the colors of the electromagnetic spectrum boxing captures many approaches. Just beause you prefer a slugg fest doesn’t mean that what Shakur put out for the world to see was boring. There are many ways to skin a cat is the term used. Why does boxing have to fit into a preselected box that categorizes what excitement is or is not? Just appreciate the sport.
Everyone doesn't play like Michael Jordan but you can appreiate Lebron, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry as well. Everyone doesn’t have to fight like Tank for it to be a fight worthy of eyes to capture.
The judgment of Shakur being a boring fighter is an indictment upon the minds of intellectual simpletons. How can anyone deem a boxing match boring unless they lack the mental capacity to truly be a true boxing fan. True boxing fans would NEVER call a fight boring. In the same way that a true soccer fan would never call soccer match boring even if the score was 0-0. If you LOVE the sport of boxing you would appreciate all facets of it.
