I drive my XL6 from Bangalore Indore and vice versa with a speed of almost 90 to 120 km/hr with an average fuel economy of 16 to 17 km per litre with all time AC on. The most comfortable car of India I would say within this price range and even exceeding some high end cars too as compared to vehicles I drove in USA.

I think manual transmission is better than automatic in terms of fuel economy. Because I have XL6 manual transmission and on highway my car averages 22-24 easily. (with 6 adult passenger) Also there is fuel economy of up to 18-20 on normal road.

Hi, I need your suggestion to choose a variant between Z2 and Z2 ESP. I have stretched my budget, earlier planned to buy a Kia Carens but looking at the safety rating now made my mind to go for a Scorpio N Z2. Want to know how practical it is to have ESP and whether it is worth spending 50K more as I'm already tight on the budget. I live in Pune-Mumbai, love to do road trips, drive below 90kmph, newly driver for such SUVs.
Pls help me and suggest whether it is really important to have ESP ? as this is new tech and maximum old vehicles run without ESP.

Go for Maruti cars as they have good resale value, especially since you have to travel within city limits.

@@br0wn_mund4 Thanks for the suggestions but i am not that updated to make sure that i get right 2nd hand vehicle. Also, dad bought IndiGo ECS in 2011 and that too is still very well maintained, people say it feels like it is max 5 year old by engine and looks. I want a similar car for my dad which will go a long way.
Maruti cars i have seen in certain instances, that they are very poorly made. The main frame of swift of my friend, i saw during servicing. He promised that he will never let his kids into this car anymore and sold it to buy ecosport. This was in 2018 and since Maruti is my client hence i know it it well that they are doing some huge cost cutting. As if they want to survive in the market by doing frauds only, their GM told me it is not sustainable in long term, many employees joined Renault and Skoda.
