- Growth Scan done in the 8th month (32 - 34 weeks) of pregnancy is very important to know the wellbeing of the baby before delivery.
It is the last scan from the list of pregnancy ultrasound scans. A lot of things are checked about the baby in this scan which includes baby's physical movement, blood flow, amniotic fluids, and many more. This scan also helps to understand the method of delivery based on the position of a baby in the womb. Hello Sapna , don’t worry. Just repeat scan after 14 days and confirm the same. Many a times baby’s are small in size and structure so these readings can’t be abnormal everytime

1.Done with my SPOT(blood Sugar test) in 26th week.The result is 158 mg/dl.After 15 days I went for the following tests FBS-72 mg/dl, PPBS-134 mg/dl,HbA1C-5.2%.

Hello kusumavalli, I guess 158 is your GTT value. You need to follow strict diet as 158 is on a bit higher side .

Thanks doctor. I had my scan today at 35 weeks and cervical length was 2.8 cm as opposed to 3.1 cm at 20 week scan. I know this is in the normal range but can this reduce further? Is there any risk for preterm labor? I have a history of prom at 38 weeks in my previous pregnancy in 2015.
Hello dear, we need to monitor closely for the same as each pregnancy is different . But the chances are rare for preterm labor
@@Truptwellness thanks for replying doctor. So do I need further scans to check on cervical length or how should it be monitored? I'm increasingly feeling pressure in the groin region. It comes and goes, intensity and intervals are not consistent but frequency has increased. It started late second trimester. Is it due to reduced length or is it normal pain? I still cannot tell where the baby actually is as I can feel the movement all over from and around navel area entire stomach to groin area. Sorry for so many questions but my doc is not very helpful and I'm getting very anxious.
@@shwet218 those are Braxton hicks contractions and are quite normal at this time . Keep a check on heavy watery discharge , if you find so then see your doctor at earliest in such case . If the contractions subside on rest then nothing to worry
