- Can a micro foam airplane get more detailed than this? Maybe, but this one is up there with the most detailed and good looking UMX planes.
It can fly slow, it can do aerobatics, even a bit of STOL as my take off demonstrates, the UMX WACO is just an awesome little biplane.
Great umx, flys well and an awesome ground loop on landing...jeff...uk.

Fully agree with you, Alex. I love yellow planes, too. Fantastic visibility. The Waco is very good to track with its color scheme. Two things on the Waco I find worth mentioning and which are rather counterintuitive: The Waco tends to balloon the slower it get’s and you may end up dropping it out of the air. So, you will kind of actively fly it down to the ground rather than just easing up on the throttle until it sinks. Consequently, when adding throttle, it pulls down. So, when being low already and you want to speed up to go around, be ready to pull the elevator, too! Not too much, but more than you probably would expect.
Second: when flying inverted, you expect having to push the elevator a bit… not on the Waco! Actually you rather need to pull a tiny bit to stay level - super counterintuitive, I‘d say and this may mess with your trained reflexes.
Just to mention. Besides this, the Waco is a super nice scale plane and if you want to know it’s aerobatic capabilities, you may want to check out Michael Clines video, flying the Waco in a gym. 😊👍🏻
The truth is I haven't flown this one so much to really notice what you mentioned, but now that I think about it you are right. A few years ago when I only had a couple of planes I would fly them so much that I knew how they would react in any situation.
Now I have so many for some it's months between flights sometimes, and I have to remember how they each behave 😄
I follow Mike Cline as well, indeed he flies this and almost anything else really well, I still have a lot of learning to do.

Oh yeah, looks fantastic, even if I'm not a fan of biplanes, just had to have this. Perfect size for me! But I think there is a bigger one, from Dynam maybe?
But yeah, I prefer E-flite, at least you know you get a plane that will fly 😂

Thanks! Yeah. I got a few discontinued ones cheap a few years ago, and I liked them so much I have to get them no matter how expensive they've become.
The UMX Conscendo is close to the price of the 1.5m one, that's crazy, but I still prefer the small ones because I can take more with me at once.

Love it! The model has just come down in price here by A$100 so which colour? Maybe the yellow like yours as easier to see in the sky.
I only bought it because it is yellow 😄 And I'm not even joking, the color played a big part in my decision to get it.
The white one is supposed to be a few grams lighter because it's not painted, don't think I could tell the difference but maybe you would.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll like either.
Just ordered it with a great savings of over $100 off delivered. Only had the white on special so yella is most popular colour

Indeed. I purchased the Micro Draco , umx Twin Otter, umx A-10 & Umx TT Evo all on end of financial year specials saving enough for the Waco purchase.

I don't have the Pitts, from what I've heard the Pitts is a bit more aerobatic. But the Pitts has the same loud motor the Timber X has, very annoying 😄
@@A.M.-RC Really love my PItts. For sure it is a bit louder than the silent mini Draco or UMX Conscendo for instance but really not much louder in my experience?! Nothing compared to an EDF! :-D
