- It's been a month since Double Exposure has been announced, over that time, we have learned a lot more about the game which has lead to a lot of speculation in the community. Let me know what you think!

I think it's more likely that the photo isn't meant to be the exact same one David has in LiS2. She gave that one to David, she wouldn't take it back later to pin to her wall. But it does look like it's from the same day, possibly taken seconds apart.
I hadn't considered that! Perhaps they took multiple pics in that moment, sent one to David and kept the others. Hopefully we learn more about that day if we get a prompt to look at the photo :)
Jefferson is probably alive in both endings because David's reaction is based on Chloe getting shot by Jefferson, but Max rewinds and avoids that outcome, so I think Jefferson did the "usual thing" with Victoria and already took care of Nathan.
Probably the confirmed survivors of the storm are:
- Max & Chloe (at the Light House)
- Victoria (Dark Room, saved by David)
- Jefferson (Dark Room)
- David (Dark Room)
- The homeless woman (determinant, away from Arcadia Bay?)
- Mikey & Steph (away from Arcadia Bay)
- The people that Max can "save" in episode 5? (Alyssa, Evan, etc.)
Kate if she was saved as well. She leaves town with her parents before the storm.

Those people that Max saves are in the timeline where Chloe is dead. In the final one Max is never in that situation of trying to get to the diner, so the people you see die, will die in the storm. As Max is not there to help them

@@SpyroTheGoth Alyssa survives the storm. Confirmed by comics. She appears in the rebuilt Two Whales Diner in Settling Dust (Vol. 6 of the comic run). The comics follow Bae ending almost exclusively (Vol.1 has crossover with Bay Ending, as Max flickers between timelines).
You did bring out the interesting theory there, I don't wanna mention everything here in the comment XD. I also think maybe some previous character might come in some sort of flashback dream. Tbh, I didn't install tiktok so missed a bit there but still seeing the info from Instagram and your video too 😂. Seeing Chloe and Max in the photo together enough to make most fan gone crazy. It's a theory that has been going around in the community. The TikToks on the official LiS page are definitely the fuel for quite a few of them!

Personally, I think the photo of Chloe and Max is likely another one they took throughout the years :) It looks a bit TOO different for me. Plus, why would Max put up a photo that is this old when she probably has much newer ones to choose from? However, I do think that the photo is still a reference to the LIS2 photo :)
When it comes to returning characters, I think it’s likely that Baers will get Chloe, and Bayers … someone else. Probably Joyce, since it makes the most sense for a Bay playthrough, but I’d be stoked to meet Kate again as well! Meanwhile, Victoria is the only one who could easily appear in both routes, so a reference is likely.

I have a theory that what photo you see might depend on how you answer the question of if you were high school sweethearts or not, so if you say you were you’d get the photo where they’re closer and if you say you were just friends you’d get the David photo
@@suzywhowhatwhere2067 While I think the "high school sweethearts" line is reserved for the Bay route, it makes sense that the picture is different depending on your relationship with Chloe, so I really hope there are different versions!
I didn't consider that it could be from a set of photos taken on the same day, but those are some interesting takes!

The whole bit of her having ptsd (she totally does/should) and trying to leave it in her past actually makes me think we'll see it get worse over the course of the game if they reflect it. Just because Max is using her powers again.
I have a feeling we will see Jefferson in the game. But this will be in nightmares that Max has. Not only that, I have a feeling that if she does have multiple nightmares that we will also see Kate or Nathan appear.

I'm confused, didn't Victoria get a chance to not end up in the Dark Room if you warn her? So she could have still died in the storm, right?
Not really, Max rewinds to before entering the party with Chloe, so Victoria still gets kidnapped by Jefferson like he planned.
And then David rescues Victoria from the Dark Room and probably arrests Jefferson.
