  • Cabin filter replacement on Renault Clio 4 is really simple and you can do it with no tools at all. Check this video to see how to change the pollen filter on Clio 4 in a couple of minutes. You don't have to remove the glove compartment to reach the cabin filter but we did it just so we can see it better in the video. Use the timestamps to navigate through the video. The great thing about Clio 4 is that even the glove compartment can be removed with no tools. We were delighted how simple and easy is most stuff on this car to do.

Great video - but unfortunately not so easy on right-hand-drive Clio. Though you can remove the glove-box door, you cannot remove the compartment so it's impossible to see behind it. Furthermore, the cover over the filter, once removed, cannot clip back into place and Renault have helpfully supplied two screw points for securing the cover back in place. (You just need to find two suitable self-tapping screws.)

Are you talking about a mk4 clio? You definitely can remove the glovebox, I just took mine out 4 times in the last 2 days as I was wiring up a stereo 😅
If you open the passenger side door you need to remove the cover that has the airbag symbol on it. It's just clipped on so use a prying tool. There are two screws to remove under it and one that's in the actual glovebox next to the latch. Then you just need to pull the whole compartment. It feels like it won't come out if it's the first time you're removing it but it will
