“Anyone, anytime, anywhere can improve, liberate, and transcend the present state of mind. With an attitude that is unbiased, altruistic, and nonaggressive, and with willingness to step out of preconceived ideas, we can solve any problem and go beyond any barrier. This is the most important key point of the Buddha’s teaching. I will speak on the four timeless principles taught in the Samadhiraja-sutra (‘The King of Samadhis Sutra’).”

Khyentse Foundation Goodman Lectures | A series of online lectures by leading Buddhist studies scholars.
The Goodman Lectures are organized in honor of long-time Khyentse Foundation friend and advisor Professor Steven D. Goodman (1945-2020), whose enduring vision to make academic talks available to people beyond the classroom inspired KF and our friends in academia to share their knowledge and insight with a more general audience.

Those 4 lines are definitely worth more than the entire billion fold universe filled with precious gemstones.
I once told my friend is rather inherit these 2 lines than a trillion pounds and of course he chose the trillion pounds lol.
"Virtue leads to felicity and well-being.
    Non-virtue gives rise to suffering"
I still choose that advice over any outer/material reward 🙏

DEDICATION AND ASPIRATION (as mentioned by Erik at the end of this video @ 1:35:31)
Sights, sounds, knowing, deva, mantra, dharmakaya realm,
Play of kayas and the wisdoms boundlessly unfold.
In this practice of great yoga, secret and profound,
Let everything be just one taste, the nondual sphere of mind.
In every single lifetime may we never be apart
From authentic teachers, Dharma's splendor to enjoy.
Completing all the virtues of the bhumis and the paths,
May we swiftly all attain the Vajradhara state.
May the precious and sublime awakened mind,
Arise in those where it has not arisen.
Where it has arisen, may it never wane,
But continue to increase forever more.

a much better explanation is not that you cannot find 'me', but rather than you cannot see 'me' or 'you' without first seeing some part of them.
there is no independent real person, persons are imputedly known in dependence on something fit to be you.

@@gyurmethlodroe1774 as you are reading this msg you appear in control of your mind and body independent of your mind and body.
the point is not that you dont exist at all but that you are currently being totally dominated by that subtle cognitive delusion regarding yourself. and for so long as it remains anxiety anger and every other form of suffering will continuously be generated out of it.

@@gyurmethlodroe1774 as you internally experience this msg you will appear independent to the experience.
likewise you can easily cause this to occur by simply saying your name internally. or saying the word 'dog' internally. an object will appear and a sense of being independent and in control of it will occur.
one develops "life experience" by learning tactics to control your mind so it doesnt hurt. theres the you who learns them and the mind who hurts less from you using them on it.
contrary to this in real life persons lack existing in such impossible ways, they exist only in a way which cannot be touched by any pain of any sort, ever.

Not only veganism is important. An organic diet is the most important. Vegetarian or vegan should always go together with biodynamic or organic farming. If not, a lot of animals and insects are killed and healthy soil structures are destroyed.
Vegetarian and vegan from traditional agriculture using chemical herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, etc., kills a lot of insects, microorganisms and birds, etc. Soil life / soil structure / balance is destroyed. This way of farming is very disrespectful and disastrous for humans, animals and the planet.
If you really want to save as much lives as possible, then combine veggy/vegan AND organic.
