Welcome back Stevie......we missed ya
I missed y'all too!!
@@bayflightAre you like Josh Cahill, flying?
glad to see you back missed seeing your episodes
When are you in the plane can. You can drive with your black flats touching the gas p
@bayflight I'm jeff what is your cell phone do you fly with your black flats touching the gas p
FINALLY! A year later, she arrives in Wisconsin....
I mean, I knew the 140 would be slow, but I didn't know it'd be THIS slow...kidding LOL
Gosh, that plane really is low and slow....
just in time for this year's oshkosh
@@bayflight But just think of all the flight hours she gets to log...LOL. ATP ticket here she comes.
@@bayflight You do realize, 140's are especially prone to bird strikes--from the rear! 🤣🤣🤣
Great to see you back! You’re a pilot after my own heart with flying your classic 140; what a beaut, and the joy of flying at lower speed enhances the experience, easily mitigated by giving yourself extra time. Kudos!
Welcome back Stevie. Have missed your uploads.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the new video!
@@bayflightDo you fly to Asia, Europe, and Latin America? You have to be like Josh Cahill and Sam Chui, right, Stevie?
Thank you Stevie. I enjoy your videos and love the way you verbalize your procedures. You are such a good pilot and I greatly enjoy the way you take us all with you. I am too old to fly now but greatly appreciate the memories your videos bring back. Lot’s of love. May the Lord always be with you. Bruce
I’ve gone from being afraid of flying to wanting to fly a plane because of your beautiful videos. Thank you ☺️
Go with a good friend you trust,no unknown recommended for inline flight attack and watch them register at the airport the flight plan for a no surprise destination landing with confidence. A unscheduled golf trip to Bahama's could challenge the fuel flight time and distance, plus you paying expenses while kidnapped?
Gosh I love the classic styling of the update to the panel - something so pleasing about that aesthetic.
A breath of fresh air among CZcams aviators! Welcome back. Love the 140.
I have been looking for the rest of the series. I didn't realize until now how much that I was missing the trip.
Glad you're back. Missed flying with you ❤
Thank you! I missed taking all of you along on my adventures!
Welcome back 😊 Last time you posted an episode owning a 140 was a dream that seemed entirely unrealistic - and now I am officially also a 140 owner 🤩🥳 thanks for all the inspiration, making me realise that the 140 is my dream plane and that ownership is attainable for a 20 something female ❤
That is so neat. Make videos for us! :) congrats!
That cloud is my favourite. Check that little guy out, going his own way, doing his own thing and living his best life :) Best cloud ever :D
OMG OMG OMG STEVIE POSTED
she's back, back again!
@@bayflightDo you like flying with Josh Cahill everywhere around the world?
I love your tennis shoes
I was a pilot 35 years ago.
You are my wings now, Stevie.❤🇧🇻
Welcome to retiredville@indianabeach
Glad to see you back!!! You have no idea how much you’ve inspired and entertained me as a 15 year old student pilot!!!! Keep doin what you do
What a beautiful 140! I don't think I've ever seen a nicer one. 😊
No nonsense airframes,safety first,go NAVY
I really admire pilots like Stevie. I’m really jealous. In my mid 70’s, I don’t think I could talk that fast into the mic, let alone listen that fast. 😂. Nice series Stevie!
Your uncluttered panel is convincing my daughter to learn to fly - finally. Thanks for the help. Your Cessna is my favorite of your wings. Hope you have a great time in the Cheesehead state.
I have to say that when approaching tiny airfields, “cute” is not always the adjective I choose to use. But admittedly, I can only aspire to be the interminable optimist Stevie always seems to be. Her videos are Prozac for the soul.
It is super busy @indianabeachamusementparkandresorts
I could just seeing you becoming a commercial airline pilot 🧑✈️ 👍🏻
Awesome job
With all the horrible news I was SO happy to see this in my feed this morning. What a wonderful escape. It's almost a meditative experience watching your videos Stevie.
We are happy to have you back. I will say you are making a lot of people happy. Thumbs up 👍
And I just noticed you are over 300 k followers congratulations.
Oh great subscription reminder,thanks friend@indianabeach309k
My neighbor owns a 1964 Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer. He and a buddy went to Oshkosh from Louisville back in early 2000's, but haven't been back. I mentioned to him that I haven't seen any posts lately from a gal named Stevie who I have followed on CZcams, and who owns a Bonanza and a Cessna 140. I then said I'll bet that with Oshkosh coming up week of the 15th, that she'll post her trip, and by gosh here you are. Thanks. I've enjoyed your travels with trips on the ground during refurbishments and in the air cross country.
Nice C-140A. I got my commercial in that airplane in 1969 and instructed in it at Monte Vista, Colorado in the 70s. Nice job first leg. Don't delay wheel landing training until the desire to get somewhere like Oshkosh puts you into a strong crosswind component situation that makes three point landing more dangerous. In no wind, the wheel landing is just a three point landing right up to the point of touch down and then forward on the yoke. In a strong headwind, or headwind component in a crosswind, your pitch attitude will already be wheel landing. You will have no choice. And you may touch down faster than Vso, an out of ground effect number. We actually need to be much slower than Vso in one inch ground effect (strong ground effect) in order to quit flying and land. So here you are level at touchdown and may need to push just a bit on the yoke to stay planted and not fly again.
Good job on second leg. Good landing. Good rudder control short final and landing. I saw very little steering wheel muscle memory with its wing wagging and nose going the wrong way with adverse yaw.
Good job third leg. Good rudder work keeping wings level by maintaining target (or exact heading) with rudder yaw only. I didn't see any wing wagging in the rough air. Notice on videos the yoke movement (aileron movement with adverse yaw). We are coordinated only when we lead rudder and we need no bank anyway when we want to go straight. Good control touch.
Thanks for bringing us along for the flight again - I’ve been looking forward to the Oshkosh adventure continuing. And she’s a gorgeous little plane, you’ve done a fabulous job renovating her.
I always get a bit excited when runways sited!how fun
So incredibly impressive. Your thoroughness is commendable
I know I am not the only one that heard her call that runway "cute". Hahaha Happy to see you back Stevie.
Hello Stevie. Finally waiting for your new video! I'm from China. My wife and I are also going to participate in the EAA this month. I look forward to seeing you, your Chinese fans.
Happy camper here. Glad to see you back, Stevie!
DBQ. My kids would certainly know that term. Enjoying watching and learning. TY
Nice Job with the SEE YA! Kinda the thing with the DBQ pilots because that guy running the tower says “see ya” a lot when you switch frequencies. Awesome seeing it the planes in DBQ, See ya in a week!
What can I say....Brilliant!!
Noticed right away your excellent radio technique. Well maintained plane too. I've flown out of New Century when it was called Johnson County Industrial Airport. Brings back memories. I don't fly anymore, but my favorite flight that you might enjoy was a big loop that started up the West coast to Ketchikan, AK, Kittimat, BC, Prince George, MacKenzie, "The Trench" (Canada's Grand Canyon), Watson Lake, Fort Nelson, Liard NDB, Fort St John, Prince George, Quesnel, Williams Lake, Chilliwack, Abbotsford Airport, Troutdale and back home. We flew a 172, which did it with some effort. Anyway, enjoy your flying. It's over all too soon.
Stevie rebuilt this plane. Check out her earlier vids to see it’s original condition. Excellent rebiuld.
I loved seeing the orange and white radial engine bird at Dubuque fuel stop. Pretty cool.
Super cool to see you land at KDBQ! Hope you enjoyed your short stay. I like to think we have the best tower controllers. Awesome guys!
Our airport has hosted the National Air Trainers Association for the past few years. I started working at the FBO last year and it's a blast to host those guys! Sitting on the wings of T-6's all day fueling is a job that I thoroughly enjoy.
Have fun at Oshkosh!
Yay! Welcome back. I’m glad you are ok and all is well. Sometimes life gets in the way. But here we are.
You make it seem all so easy!
God bless you Stephanie. Your soul is flying high.
Nice to see you again in the air. Almost time for 2024, though. Keep right on flying.
Welcome back Stevie. Missed you.
Nice vlog - your comms are on point! Nothing super-extraneous just clear requests and great read backs. Oh yeah and you fly/land really well too. Top effort👍🇳🇿
As an Australian pilot, I’m always amazed at how many quality airstrips there are seemingly “everywhere” across the USA.
Ha New Century that’s where I volunteer for air shows, good to see ya again, missed you, Blue Angels and Thunderbirds was the last act I saw there, Maj Michelle Curran was #5 for the T-Birds, I got w/in 5 feet of her highlight of my time there…you should interview her, she’s a rockstar…peace
Nice Fly Stevie, so glad you're back!! We are originally from Phoenix as natives and now living in beautiful Wausau, WI. You make flying so much fun! Safe Travels and God Bless!!
Since I live in Olathe it is always great to see some aerial video of the KC area. Thanks!
I miss Olathe, too.
I missed you!!! Please keep sharing your flying videos! I love all things aviation-especially your channel! If I were smarter, I'd be a pilot!
Stevie I love your 140. Enjoy your flight and have fun
Love that blue color.
So glad you are continuing the series! Love the Douglas Dauntless at 20:13! AT-6s are pretty cool too. :)
Stevie, got to see you at Oshkosh. Samantha is all fired up thank you for the being inspirational. Be safe🤞🤞🤞
Keys are probably important...LOL! The most hysterically funny innocuous comments. Love the aerial views! All those gorgeous round motors are not too shabby, either. Sure have missed you, Stevie. Glad you are ok.
Hello Miss. Triesenberg,
I very much appreciate your videos. I was beginning to think that you have been kidnapped. I am glad you are back in the cockpit with your inspirational video camera.
Thank you for the post, very well done!! I know it's been a while since your last post but very happy to see it! TC
Looking forward to the next one! ❤
Thank you so much for watching!
Have been waiting for this to come out. So great to meet you two! Hope to run into ya this year - T6’s will be back at KDBQ
Hi Stevie , thanks fo for the video 👏 . Glad you are well 👍, and 'ya , missed you. ❣
Welcome back! Was getting worried something happened to you lol! Love you videos and as a Wisconsin native I love EAA and all it brings with it
So giving and beautiful ! I was talking about her old plane . lol both . Adorable !
Yes Stevie We Certainly Missed you :)
And I missed all of you!
Great Vid, Can't wait to see you fly the Fisk in the 140. Love your easy precision with the comm's!!!
Back in my flight training days I flew into all those airports. That is cool to see them again.
Dubuque! Wife's whole family is from there. Spent a lot of time there. Good part of the world.
That one lonely little cloud was admiring the passage of a beautiful young lady flying a beautiful old lady.
Yay! you're back! Have a great trip to Oshkosh this year!
Thank you so much! We are headed out this week!
@@bayflight You're welcome! My friend, Erick O'Connor will be down there again with his F1 Rocket.
Hey I know that guy! We both got our planes painted at ArtCraft! Looking forward to seeing him again for sure
@@bayflight Yup....he's super proud of that Rocket! Have a good one, Stevie!
Welcome back!!!
thank you!!
I like the sun roofs in this plane! Nice to see you back in the air 😊
Good Lord Stevie!!!! Please don't stay gone for so long next time.
I purchased my first plane this week, a Beechcraft B19 Musketeer Sport. The avionics aren't too dissimilar to yours, I have dual G5s and a GNX 375. That said, I LOVE how clean your panel is!!! Everything you need, nothing you don't. Beautiful...
There she is. I was getting worried. So nice to see you.
Stevie! Great to see you up with that little gem! Looking grand! :)
Blue Skies!!!
great flight! like seeing your little freckles 😉
thanks for the ride. Brings back memories. I miss flying.
so nice to see you again Stevie ,,, its been way to long since you have graced us with your presence ,,, glad your back >😃
Ok this is so cool bc I grew up in Centerville! I had to pause on the scenic shots to try to identify the landmarks lol
That is a sweet little plane!! One small point about the carb heat check - it isn't the drop that's important, it's the subsequent rise while the carb heat is on that is important. It shows you if the carb heat is melting ice. I never use carb heat on the ground for less than 10 seconds and watch the revs closely. All things being equal, if there is also a rev rise when you then put it cold that confirms there was ice. Clear skies Stevie!
Fabulous Flight Stevie...!! Pleasant and Fun, awesome views, wonderful background Music... Everything Great, Thanks Captain...! 🙏❤🛩️Take care. 👍
Wow Hey Stevie glad to see you back it’s been a while! Hope life is treating you well 😊
Like a well maintained aircraft, a smile never gets old. Greetings from Belgium and cu all in a week !
Great to see you again. Proof that tail dragger are more fun, Stevie bogarting the one forty while Gram is pimping the BE35! Glad to see your on the mend.
OMG...he is soooo cute! Welcome back...flying an old classic tail-dragger at that....Stevie don't need no glass panels to fly!!!
You flew over my city! Glad our farmers can keep you entertained over the flat farmland.
Wow, fist time I've seen your video in a while. So glad to see your video again.
Very nice. Advice, carb heat ON, carb heat OFF, check, carb heat ON, throttle idle, check (idle mixture setting), carb heat OFF. That will be the configuration on final. All the best.
No doubt been a bit. Hope all is good your way Stevie. Now let’s get to it
Thanks for visiting our airport last year, Stevie. KDBQ is the best (and busiest) airport in Iowa due to the University of Dubuque flight school! Hope you come back this week as well… the NATA trainers will be back on the field again before heading to Oshkosh! Blue skies! - Bob
Ihr beiden seid ein gutes Team 👍🏻❤
Nice upgrades on your 140! your cute as a button! Fly safe! No worries NO hurries!!😊
Sharp looking 140. Nice plane. Enjoyed your flights. Enjoy ❤
you've been gone a while. Life must've happened. great to see you back
Kudos for having installed and using shoulder harnesses. I hope many people follow your example.
Yes a wheel landing would be great to see. it's tough but easier without a crosswind. Be strong on the rudders and hold that balance!!!
I’m not a pilot, but I absolutely love aviation, automotive, and railways. I love all of them. Fun fact, I love watching planes flying around the sky. You probably aren’t going to expect this, but I’ve never flown in a plane. Watching this makes me WANT TO! Your Cessna and Bonanza are excellent examples of planes that I like watching flying in the air. My grandpa got me into them (wasn’t a pilot, but he worked on them), and now I love them as well. Hopefully, I can experience what it is like in one! Dreams sometimes come true and I’m holding it to that! Welcome back, Stevie. Sure is nice you posted again! :))
Nice video.
It's very exiting!
America is wide!!
In the future,I wanna fly over the continent!!!
Long time. Happy to see the new video.
Stevie, it's good to have you back. Last I saw you was when you had both planes painted with new interior installed! I hope you enjoy Oshkosh and be safe!!!
Neat footage over MKC. Just across the river to the west is the Fairfax auto plant which is where B-25s were built during WWII, and you can still see part of the old runways and taxi ways. I wish I had known that when I flew in to MKC.
Stevie you have surely been missed. Hope everything is fine. Glad to see you’re back. God bless you.
Beautifully restored plane with a few nice modern upgrades.
Thank you so much!
It has been sooooooo long since your last video. Seeing this pop up in my feed put the biggest smile on my face. 😀 Glad to see you back; you've been missed!
I was like part 5
Where the heck is part 1-4 🤣🤣
Then I relised this was the continuation of the last years trip.
Way to freak my brain on a Sunday morning.
Stevie Thanks for another wonderful view of flying across our great country. Your attention to detail is amazing!
