Joe, what do you think the creator hub on the main menu is? You absolutely can do both of those things. The main drawback is that you can only share your car if you built it from scratch using the chassis that the game gives you; if you try and build off of a pre-existing car or change it's paint scheme then the game won't let you share it online (Although if it's approved you can race online with those cars)

I just want to say it’s cool as hell that Lego and Hot Wheels are still doing good and are still relevant. Just crazy to think about.

Lego will out live us all man, if you want to keep your hotwheelz relevant you can play a table top game called gas lands. Take a look, it's surprisingly good.

the difference between burnout dominator and revenge and a game like this is mainly the artstyle .. that game looked great on the ps2 and still delivered that arcady rush ... but with lego2k the artstyle is dished in favor of better game mechanic and roguelike elements which is great.. i just wished we could get both

You can launch the Mines behind you by pulling back/down on the L-stick when firing. Conversely, you can launch the Spider Webs in front of you by pushing forward/up on the L-stick when firing. FWIW, the micro transactions haven't bothered me. I got the game half price, and you don't need to buy anything to win.
2K games is quite honestly a publisher I would like to see crash and burn. Everything they touch has a vile micro-transaction aftertaste that makes the likes of EA and Ubisoft look like innocent choirboys. I'm guessing the reason why this Lego game didn't receive more love is because many people feel like that, and also because one couldn't tell at the start how problematic the micro-transactions would be because 2K likes pushing towards the Pay-2-Win side of the micro-transaction debate. Personally I'd love to play it, but I don't want to support 2K in the slightest and it's too expensive for a title I'm not fully committed to when there are still so many other games I want to get. I'm keeping an eye on it though, hoping that some day there will be some sort of Ultimate pack to get that feels more worth it since it definitely does look fun.

Yeah.. like the brick selection is so limited, but you can earn more with premium battle pass. Also you aren't allowed to build military vehicles or things with "guns" so the Mech I built with guns wasn't allowed to be uploaded for online play.. so I removed the "guns" and gave it hands and lights. Mind you, Lego makes kits with GUNS.. the Boba Mech kit has a gun and his rocket launcher pack.

Sadly the cars are really expensive, so you either finish 200! Race first or you pay money to get the cars. 200 even with the shorter courses is a lot of time and effort you have to put into it. I like the creative options, but same thing here... Race or pay for more parts... Not cool for a video game targeted to childs mostly.

For anyone that plays the game on Xbox... Does it take long to find online pvp races? Thinking of getting it, just not sure if its worth it.
Only thing i dislike about 2k drive is that you can't move where the wheels go im forced to change some of my builds because of 1 or 2 blocks

i have the crew 2 and forza horizon 4 lego dlc in my collection so i see no point in getting this game unless it has one thing and that is split screen couch co op 🤔🤔🤔
