He was kinda near the end of the tent, so I only had like $2 left by the time I made it back to him. He asked me if I wanted to try one of his sweet potato cakes and I sadly had to say no because I didn’t have enough cash on me, so he looked at me and said “you know what, these are so delicious that I’m just gonna need you to have one for free” 😭. And let me tell y’all. IT WAS DELICIOUS, MOIST, HEAVEN-SENT. Omg. So every week after that, I always went to his tent first and bought some of his cakes to take back to my family and we developed a friendship. Anyways, THOSE SWEET POTATO CAKES ARE BOMB and I’ll never forget that sweet old man!
