Heat is carried away by the coolant as well as the airflow under the car, and the space above the motor is also in a closed state before it is installed.😉
Garbage. There is plenty of room under there for ventilation. Indeed some manufacturers battery cover DO completely enclose the battery. As a safety feature the storage box is excellent, it makes it less likely for a battery short to take place.

The minor inconvenience of taking off the parts covering the battery every 2,3 maybe 4 years is worth it to have the frunk space 🤷🏻
