When you were describing all the different genres the show is... psychological thriller, horror, philosophical drama, etc-- I think you left out one: a dark comedy/satire. This show makes me laugh out loud regularly. I honestly think it is (intentionally) one of the funniest shows I've seen on modern television.
I really should have mentioned that. I'm so cerebral I sometimes forget how much fun I have while watching this show!
I am very excited for this new season of Evil! Such a good show. I love the mix of disturbing horror and humor, especially through Andrea Martin's character, Sister Andrea, and Kristin's four rambunctious daughters. And as you say, the examination of psychology, faith, and the supernatural is fascinating and intelligent.

I love Sister Andrea, too! I do love the dark comedy of "Evil", but you know how much I enjoy dissecting the psychology and sociological sides of EVERYTHING 😂😂😂. I sometimes forget how much I laughed while watching. I can't wait to chop this season up with you!

This is the final season. There have been 3 seasons so far - about 36 episodes or so. The final season will be 13 or 14 episodes. Thanks for watching!

Yes, this show is quite the seductive show. I mean not only Katja extremely attractive, they hide that fact most of the show in very conservative attire. It's a very sexy mix. As my grandfather once told me: "you can't hide a beautiful woman in ugly clothes." Anyway truly a great show. The not knowing what is really happening to these people in some episodes, is very intriguing.
The unknown is definitely a part of the allure 😮❤️
