In this video we will build a professional power distribution box in a 2U rack shassis, it will have 8 Schuko sockets and a switch for each outlet and a fuse.
We can write the name of the loads in the rectangles above the fuses (or stick a narrow paper sticker with the printed name). - Věda a technologie
Such craftsmanship and attention to detail. This is incredibly relaxing to watch and i'm so jealous of your work. Bravo.
Thank you for your high rating and kind words!
Бен, это Данила. Бен, Ай нид хэлп)))
Алло, алло, розетки закончились, Ай нид пару коробок Шуко )))
Wow, very professional job!
This is Art!
Thanks!
Отличная работа, отлично снятая и под отличный музыкальный ряд. Тоже большой фанат пост-рока. Спасибо!
Спасибо большое! ❤️👍🤝
These industrial sockets are just more than nice and tidy. No headache from all different and pointless types of plug-in & twist-in NEMA connectors.
Thanks for comment, yes I agree with you!
Лютый!!!!❤👍
Лайк этому столику!
Nice video! Super professional craftsmanship, v impressive :D
Asking for a personal project of mine: Do you think it would be possible to make this same box, but switch out the Schuko sockets for automotive USB outlets? I like the safety features of the Schuko sockets, but I am having trouble finding USB outlets that have similar safety built in and also safe to use with rocker/toggle switches.
Thank you for your rating and kind words!
Yes, of course, you can install any sockets for yourself in such a design, even USB, but it’s true that in this case the distributor will serve to supply DC power to USB devices (why not!). The device in this video is for connecting loads operating from a 230V mains, so I used Schuko with covers.
Beautiful work!
Quality job done here.
Thanks!!

👌👌
Which cable do you use for the switch? minus(-) or plus (+) ?
This is not + or -, this device runs on AC mains current, and the wires/cabling have standard called Line, Neutral, PE. For internal wiring I use 1.5 or 2.5 square mm flexible wire. Input cable - H07RN-F Top Cable 3x 2.5.
@@Anthony_Scott_Studioservice I mean the cable connected to the on and off switch on the front panel. Which route do you use - or +…???
How can I purchase one of these?
Hi, what is that black liquid like stuff..?
Where can someone purchase the blank box do do their own? Ive been searching but i must not be using the correct terminology or words.
“Project box enclosure”
“Electronics enclosure”
Mix up the words enclosure, box, aluminum, project, DIY and you’ll find something.
I use custom-made steel boxes of 1 and 2 mm thickness for my various devices (they are made at the factory according to my drawings). And currently, I do not press the holes in the rear panel myself (this is time-consuming and laborious), and I also order them milled also at the factory.
The front panels are made at a different factory.
But I think you can look for something similar boxes somewhere on Ebay or AliExpress.
Try searching by names: diy enclosure metal box, rackmount enclosure 2U.
What is that black sealing goo?
This is regular metal paint. I apply it to secure the threads to prevent the possibility of unwinding (since some of my box distributors work not only in the studio or at home, but also in sound rentals and are often transported). Thanks!
Anthony where are you located in America. Thank you
I'm not in America... in Russia. Thanks.
How much cost great job Anthony. Thanks
How much
The price is about 280-300 USD (I can say more precisely when I check the availability and change in prices of components in our country), but I am in Russia, and at the moment there are problems with international delivery from our country, and almost all private money transfers do not work either ...
Music video. Waste of time
I'm sorry for wasting your time))) but it's probably useful to others, not you.
