This is a great video, with sound advice for people wanting to make a meaningful change! Thank you :D
I just discovered your videos. This one in particular is as relevant now as it was then. Thank you.
Thanks! what a video. It answered lot of my questions on new year resolutions. It would help me in convincing self and others for taking up new good habits.
FINE FINE! im making a new years resolution!
Sweet, From watching the video I have made my resolution.
Thank you.. :-)
brilliant mind
Great talk, exactly what I needed. Happy New Year to you, too. :)

i thought it will be Donald Trump
Another great animation MFE. A well researched contributor that helps explain the success rate of New Years Eve committers, is their commitment is shared among friends. This public commitment makes a more compelling reason not to fail...publicly (which is perceived as higher risk/reward than success itself).
great
May I ask what tools did you used on this video?
Thanks for making such a great and helpful video.
Wow
the guy in this video must have been so disappointed by 2020
Happy new year doc :)
Another magnificent video @DocMikeEvans. I'm particularly intrigued by your allusions to methods currently invoked by the Quantified Self movement. Thank you.

I read about that popcorn study in the book "Switch - How to Change Things When Change is Hard." I highly recommend it.
I like this video. I was expecting to hear that no one sticks to New Year's resolutions. I am glad that was not the case.

Hi Sis

:)
Great video to watch if your thinking about your new years resolution! Do they work? Can I do it?
Thanks a lot DocMikeEvans
GREAT VIDEO, i'm going to make a video soon about resolutions might have to refer to this in suport of my views because its interesting informative & fun :) ive personally kept my resolution for this year of not drinking coca cola which i happened to drink often and was becoming dependant on it, now i drink probably 3 times as much water always have water bottles with me and barely drink any soft drink at all! :) so if youre lacking confidence just give it a shot :) start small :) xoxo
Wish i could draw like that
What is meant by "facilitation works better than motivation"? Can you define facilitation in this context?
+Gabrielle Zlomek So by facilitation I mean "making it easier to do the right thing". This would have to be customized to you but concrete examples include.. putting out running shoes, putting cut fruit on counter/fridge, booking activity weekly...
i'm going to pretend people arent after me ............and not think every bad/wrong/
petty and insulting thing thrown my way is unfair.....i havent drank in 3 mos and am going to keep it that way which is smart for me but i am showing symptoms of major "dry drunk" behavior .....that's when u stop drinking and are still an asshole....HAPPY NEW YEAR
Good video.. but his voice makes it difficult to understand..
I had to watch this for my studies but it's so booooooring!
🤮🤮🤮
