4 hours, are freaking mental. Thats insane First started smoking at age of 6. Did not become true smoker until 10. 43 now. In planning stage. Developed my own app to track everytime i smoke. Just knowing exact how many i smoke is helpful. as well becoming aware by registering on my phone has its advantages. might take it to the app store but would think there is already a gazzillion apps for it

To attempt to quit smoking, you really have to be sick of the habit. You have to know that your mind and body will try to convince you to cave. During these tough times, you have to remember what you hate about smoking. You have to find a great overwhelming distraction for the times your cravings peak. I did pushups. It worked to help distract me. The key is to really hate smoking. You have to really truly to the core want to quit, to have a chance of quitting. Do it cold-turkey. Don’t f around with “weening yourself”. Just do it, and know that the addiction will be strong for about 3 days-then it will wane for the next 15 days.
It's not counting its doing nothing
A pack a day at $8.70 a pack. $8.70 times 365 days in a year equals $3,175.50 Addictions are unhealthy and crazy expensive.
Why no advice on sex? Isn't it literally the same advice as the other ones? Like change your coffee routine , change your sex routine?
Exercise is really beneficial for your overall health. Remember that consistency is the key!
I just left smoking and drinking. It’s been two weeks, Now I am having withdrawal symptoms BP fluctuations, mood swings, irritability … started exercising to avoid .. going to it again … but the doctor asked me not to exercise for a week … I have to take BP meds for a week..

smokers are weak willed individuals. There is benefit to smoking, yet they continue to do it. They are mentally weak, simple as that.

Started at 11, stopped at 22. 27 now and couldn’t be more proud. One of the hardest things I’ve done but I’m happy now that it’s done, and that’s what you have to remember is that there is an end point. You WILL feel better after feeling bad now as that is the sacrifice. CBD no nic cigarettes and CBD vapes helped a ton, cold turkey on nic otherwise.
I am 12 days off. Now it is getting easier to control my mind. In first week, it felt like I said no and the mind refused and virtually visited the nearby shop and smoked
Today is my first day, was planning to quit smoking but procrastinated, but today Dad found out my pack, it was pretty embarrassing and they were very disappointed.
I smoked for almost 50 years. I quit a year and a half ago. It was amazing. I was coughing up lungs all day and night before I quit. The first day, I stopped coughing. Like any addiction, it's more mental than physical.

If you want to give up JUST GIVE UP do not listen to people who will tell You it is hard to stop smoking. Do not use nicotine patches OR gums they are just making lots and lots of MONEY for the MANUFACTURER. Just Use your own Will Power and strength of Mind and Your FRIENDS AND FAMILY to stop smoking Tobacco if you can.I gave up smoking Tobacco 23 years ago. One day I said to Myself I will stop smoking Tobacco and I DID.MR Leslie Malcolm Cyril Bishop Brett The Groovy Groovemeister and Lyricist Extraordinaire and a very Optimistic Optimist. (I also understand that my way of giving up smoking Tobacco is not for everyone but it could be a starting Point. MAYBE ????)
