Hop's Wooloo is one of the cutest things to come outa pokemon in a long time. too bad the main series didn't freaking bring these guys in as the protagonists.
I was wishing so hard for Hop to be in the episode Leon was in but sadly, my wish didn't come true 😭

Jackie Rocha i wish, but i highly doubt it. his main companion is already gou, and koharu will most likely join in. male in-game rivals usually don’t travel with ash...they either don’t make it into the anime or appear very later on

If you look closely after you defeat him, you can see his shoulders shaking like he was gonna cry. I wanted to let him win so badly but you have to do it to beat the game.

After watching yesterday episode of Twilight Wings and this video, it made me like Hop even more. Not just because of him trying his best or anything but he holds a special bond with Wooloo.
I find it touching to see them bond because it gives me a better understanding why Wooloo was Hop’s partner and still is.
Hop and Wooloo are too pure 🥺 I Love this friendship between a trainer and his first pokémon 🥺🥺

Y’know how hard this hits along with the twilight wings episode when you realize that after Bede beat Hop, he switched out his beloved Wooloo when he battled you at stow on slide? That just shows how desperate he was. So desperate to the fact he put away his best friend
