@@zombiebats52 Oh I know -- I've probably seem them play this number live 20 times ---- I was more referring to Mick and Keith doing it together and sharing a mic. These days Mick is always off stage during Keith's part.
SENBLOODYSATIONAL ! The ‘73’ Aussie tour should get an official release, just like ‘Brussels Affair’. . Love the duel slide geetars on this version. . Woop ! 😎🎸🇦🇺👍🏻
I remember reading an interview w Johnny Winter He said he had to get laced up just to be even He was doing speed balls and going out on stage and performing so without the drug the show didn't go on ... Richard's over the years definitely beats the odds .,
If you read ‘Life’ Keef would get ‘clean’ before a major tour, just to keep up with MT. . After he left that’s when Keef was off his dial for touring. Hence why the ‘75’ US tour is a sloppy mess compared to this and ‘Brussels’ from later in ‘73’.
Watch all of these old Stones vids I come across. This is fantastic, one of the best. They even kept MT in check a bit, which was hard to do in '73 (he sounds great, but less is more).
Hi Paul, yes - Happy was the best of the lot, but we made a collage of the best bits of a few other songs - czcams.com/video/-lMuwg46O18/video.html Cheers !
Stellar! I love the fact there is a soundboard from this gig and that you were able to capture this wonderful footage. Did you happen to film more? Need any help getting it digitized?
FABULOUS
Stones rolling
This is cool. Shame the video quality isn't better....Keith is great here. Thanks for posting.
Yeah One Of The Best Stones ...Time,s..Ever....Love It ...Gr From The Stones Music Lover..1962....Hollanda...Dick....

Hearing Wymans base so clear is a treat . He could lay down a groove tou had to shake your hips to
Peak Glimmer Twins. makes me happy
YAy! &the fabulous Bill Wyman holding the ground floor with a Gibson EB 3
The Glimmer Twins in full flight...rock n roll at its very best.😊
Wow!! I wish the boys still played this number together - it’s goddam rock n roll magic! What a gem 50 yrs later. Great clip!!!

@@jackwestgracey9165 ahhhh, yeah Mick definitely needs his breaks, but it would be really fun to watch them do it together again like the 70’s
1 Gimmie Shelter, 2, Jumping Jack Flash 3 Happy, 4 Bitch, 5 Brown Sugar
Excellent shots of Keith and Charlie, great angle, watching Charlie is a treat.

This is fantastic!! Great sound
Fantastic
Fantastic!
Wow: yeah, give Bill some. Right on, Mick. Outstanding. Bloody good.
This I believe is the Australia tour 1973, they did this 'Happy' in Melbourne with same phenomenal energy at Kooyong in the blazing sun. Brilliant!
Wow! Such an incredible piece of history!
“Charlie’s band” mick Taylor days✌️❤️
It's astounding that Keith could do that while he was still hooked on horse

Thank you for posting this.
Never seen this before. The early 70’s are my favorite time period of
The Rolling Stones. Again, thank you.
Amazing footage of the greatest band ever.
Awesome man! Wish Keith could still sing it like this :)
Mick did most of the singing back then . All Keith since he got off of the smack
Keith looked so much younger in 1973 - compared to nearly 50 years later in May 2022 - czcams.com/video/sK-cDraySfM/video.html
I love the Pacific tour, it has great shows that deserve an official live album.
Very cool
Now I am - HAPPY - thank you!
Great clip!

Thanks for that Deniz must have been awesome to see them live in their prime. Was there a little bias on cameraman’s focus on the guitar😜

Well Alright!!!

Killer performance, can't make out the guitar Keith is playing here, but it sounds great. Any ideas folks?
Gibson SG
@@MrMoonlight414 That's not an SG. Look at the huge headstock. It's actually A Ted Newman-Jones custom guitar made for Keith.
Ted Newman-Jones custom guitar made for Keith.
Nicely spotted mate, am not familiar with Ted's guitars and look forward to having a closer look at his handiwork.
Boy, Mick really hates to share the mic.
How does this sound: This clip is nearly 49 years old! Yikes! (Don't get me wrong - I LOVE it - but dang, I must be OLD!)
............... Dirk ten Haaf !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was there, with my new wife! Wowwww!!!
Yeah that’s Rad!
Didn’t you sell him a guitar on during that tour?
IIRC Deniz recounts this tale in Vivien Johnson's book about Birdman.
Rock Off?
キース、もしかしてスライド弾いてる?
Fantastic!
