  • First video edit! This stuff is not easy. Flying my new 21m Dudek Solo. Absolutely love this wing! It's super stable and has a great speed range. It's an amazing step up from a Mojo. Flight lasted about 1hr and 40 minutes and traveled approximately 30 miles. Ran out of card space on my GoPro Session after the wing overs at the end. Hope y'all enjoy!!

    Nice wingovers. I'll be working on mine later this evening.

      Thanks! I need to make a note to adjust my camera angle when I do them. I'm slowly getting bigger and bigger. Pretty sure that was my first time going completely over the top. Fun stuff!!

    do you think its a big deal to learn on this wing? I have some time under canopy as have done a couple solo jumps from planes. I just don't want to buy a mojo for 2 weeks later to turn around and want this. thanks

      I would not hesitate to learn on this wing. If anything, it will be easier and more enjoyable as the solo inflates much easier and has better flare authority. Reach out to me on Facebook if you have any questions.

    Looks like your buddy's rocking an Adventure Pluma! Great frame!
    Also that dudek solo really comes up quick it looked like, planning on making it my first wing out of training. Ive got either the Solo, Roadster 3 or the Charger 2 are my choices right now.
    Thoughts?

      All good choices for first wings. Out of those three, I'd go with the Solo. The solo is rock solid and has little to no oscillation characteristics. Ozones tend to oscillate more than I like. Chargers are fine but nothing too special. What is your body weight?

      @@adamsilver7268 I'm 190lbs 6'4" so my all up, full gas weight in KG would be about 122kg. Puts me in the weight range for a 24m Solo.
      Thanks for replying so quick!

      @@CoyoteOne No problem man! Another wing to consider is the Dudek Universal 1.1. It has great speed range in the trimmers and is a rock solid wing. The solo inflates better and handles sharper, but the universal has an unbeatable trim range. Just depends on your flying style. Also, the pluma is a cool frame but I don't recommend it. I like the Fly Products Ryder a bit more.

    I'm heavily considering this wing. What is your all up weight? Have you flown any other B gliders? Also considering the Spyder 3. Launch / Land characteristics? Thanks. Sorry for all the questions. Not too many videos out there with this wing.

    • @adamsilver7268
      @adamsilver7268  Před 4 lety +1

      No worries! My all up weight is 108kg on a full tank. Launch/ inflation is almost too easy. Comparing to my 24m mojo and a 24m speedster I flew, inflation was much easier and tends to overshoot if you try and inflate the wing like either of those ozones. The wing caries a lot more energy than my mojo and you get much more flare authority on landing. The wing is very stable and does not tend to oscillate. I really like it. Turns are sharp and over all I have nothing to complain about other than the stupid velcro on the tip steer toggles. Let me know if you have any other questions or if I didn't answer your question fully!

      @@adamsilver7268 , do you intend to do anything about the Velcro? I'm about 108kg all up as well. Did you have any concerns about the range being 100kg, with the max "for experienced" being 125kg? How is your fuel burn? Way more than the Mojo?

    • @adamsilver7268
      @adamsilver7268  Před 4 lety +1

      @@matthewpesce765 As far as the velcro goes, I'll probably just leave it there until I tie in the tip line to the main brakes. I didn't really have any concern for the weight range, but that all depends on if you are ready for the increased handling response. For my weight and personal comfort with flying, I was ready for the 21m.
      Fuel burn is okay. I'd say its the same burn rate as my 24m mojo, but I'm flying much faster on the Solo. This morning I flew for about 1hr and 20min. Burned almost 3 liters.

      @@adamsilver7268 what motor do you have? Does the Velcro have to be closed to hold the toggle? Or is there a magnet too. What's the purpose of the Velcro?

    • @adamsilver7268
      @adamsilver7268  Před 4 lety +1

      @@matthewpesce765 I have a Parajet Maverick Moster 185 MY'19. The toggle has a magnet on it. But, it doesn't seem as effective as the Ozone TST holders. I guess the velcro just holds it more securely if you don't plan on using them? PS I'm in the process of editing my flight from this morning, so stay tuned for some more video of this wing.

    What is the en rating for this wing? Is it comparable to en-b?
