Great video. Just a quick correction - Scrims are also useful because they retain the specular quality of the light - those little light specs on shiny objects
Hi! About your problem with the remote: you need to have two lights on the same channel, but in different groups, that way they should keep individual settings. Hope this helps.
If a company sends you a product to try out and asks you to do a review based on how you would use it, you don't owe it to the world to carry out laborious tests on the products. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find more in-dept scientific tests on these lights.
Great review! honest, forthright, and insightful. thank you!!
Nice tips Hugh! thanks for sharing
Thanks a lot! 🎥
Great channel, Hugh. I really appreciate the professional perspective on things, without the goofiness that's so prevalent on youtube. Subscribed.
Thanks a lot Robert, appreciate the comment and sub!
Hi Hugh, great video. What kind of lights setup do you use for making this video, it´s awesome!

Not to mention half scrims and graduated scrims are an incredibly helpful exposure tool.

No photometrics or color accuracy tests?

At 1:14. Adjusting tension with a spanner??? Is this a joke?
do I look like I'm laughing? They supply wrenches with the lights, get over it.
