16 pump fire, Aerials 2, Oakridge Road, Basingstoke - 27.5.23

Crews from across Hampshire and Berkshire have been tackling a serious fire in a block of flats in Oakridge Road, Basingstoke. 16 pumps and 2 aerial appliances attended along with other support appliances.

Look like the kind of fire we get here across the pond. Been on a few we lost the roofs on

At the same time as that fire in Basingstoke there was a fire in Andover as well

Its so weird seeing all this. I used to live in 161 on that road and this happened just a few months after I moved out and new tenants moved in. If we hadnt moved it would've been us in that position.
Sidenote: they still haven't rebuilt, which i think is awful. Its coming up to a year now and everyone that was living there is still displaced due to it. Get on with it Vivid!

Nisa I know because the houses were one of mine so basically it was just my mum
