Hi, actually ,vou are not allowing the roti to fluff up. If you don't mind, I have a small suggestion. I have Bajaj Vacco Roti maker. After placing atta peda ok n roti maker & close to press know, don't open top tawa instantly. Leave that way, for 10 seconds. Then open wait for the bubbles to form. Flip. Again wait for bubbles to form. Flip & see. If both sides of the roti is roasted to brown, then, close the upper tawa. Then it will fluff up nicely and slides to the edge of tawa. Mm ainntip is, roti must be roasted to brown bubbles on both the sides of roti. Then only, it will fluff up nicely. Give it a try this way. You will not be disappointed:.😊

I mean ,main tips, is to roast the roti to brown. You will be knowing know? How you have to roast chapathi, to cook properly. That much brown should be. Not too dark.. otherwise, it will become kadak chapathi.(hard.).😊

I can understand that. For a week after buying my Bajaj Roti maker, even, I had the same problem. But , by experimenting by making small changes. Now, I too will make soft dough. And rotis are fluffing up fast & nice. :)

The roti maker functions without any issues, and its overall quality is quite good. Regarding the softness of the roti, if stored in a casserole, it maintains its soft texture for an extended period; however, exposure to open air may cause it to become harder.

It is sliding by itself because its not sitting on a horizontal surface (due to your keeping it on a thermocol piece).Try keeping the machine on a perfectly horizontal surface and it shouldn't happen.

When making chapathis on a chapathi maker you don’t dust the dough with flour before flattening as when you do it manually. One reason why your chapathis didn’t come out right.
