Firstly congrats and thanks for the video. this is very helpful. I recently got a rotimatic plus and have a question, wanted to check with you on that. The side door does not close properly...i.e., every time, I need to lift little bit up to close it. Is it the case for you as well?

Can you also show if the rotis are soft. I have seen many videos showing how the machine work but no one showed how soft the rotis are and if you can break them using 2 fingers.

Great video, thanks for this! I had a question though. In case we need only 5 rotis for that day, do we need to adjust the flour, water and oil levels? If not, do we always need to fill these 3 to the max? What happens to the rest of the dough once it makes those 5 rotis? Or does it finish the entire dough in one go, irrespective of how many rotis you actually select?
It will only make the dough for the number of Roti's you make, remaining flour, water and oil will stay in the container.

Aapne iski cost nahi batayi aur na hi ye bataya India main kaise purchase kar sakte hain. Roti ko hath main lekar camera k samne dono side se dikhana chahiye tha uski (roti) thickness dikhana chahiye thi, sath hi ye bhi batana chahiye tha easily toot rahi hai ya nahi. Hamare yahan rumali roti jaisi patli roti banti hai, video dobara se in sab complaints ko dur karte huye banaiye. Mai intezar karungi. Mere liye khareedna bahaut zaroori hai, kyunki meri kalai(wriest) ki bone main fracture hai jo abhi tak juda nahi hai.

@@deepikac871 we too got rotimatic plus couple of months back. there is no way that customer can identify it (not labeled any where on the device nor anywhere mentioned in the app). currently it is identified via the device number and that info is with rotimatic people only.

I reject this right away . Remember, the Whole roti maker is made up of plastic. The plastic is constantly dealing with high heat to make the roti 🥲.
Actually very good point. The plastic can heat over time and release fumes and possibly deposit onto food. I love this machine, but I think they need to keep upgrading and redesigning. Of course it will never be like made by hand but imagine an old person who cannot make it anymore or someone who has no time but wants to eat healthy at home

This m/c is suitable for hotel resatraunt and those religious place where large amount of people go there on daily basis
We have this machine and this machine is not at all suitable for making large number of rotis. Since there is no way to clean the hot plates in the middle of cooking, after making certain number of rotis, expect roti to stick to hot plates inside. At which point you can't make any more rotis. We found our upper limit to be somewhere 17-20 when machine was new. Now that our machine is old, it is something like 13-14.
This machine is not at all suitable for large quantities. Like you say if its a place with large amount of visitors then the required machine is 20times bigger than this and makes much better chapatis. This is compromise as per me. I m not criticising just stating my opinion about this machine.

At 8.08 i see a uncooked failed roti kept aside on the plate. at that time it shows on the machine 3 of 6 roties. Can you confirm what happened there? I am planning to buy the machine. Please reply.. Thanks!
When you first buy the machine it will probably make a couple of failed rotis but it’s a smart machine and improves as it makes more rotis for you. We have had one for about 5 years - it’s a real time saver but you must ensure you clean and maintain it for it to last. I don’t think the rotis are as nice as hand made rotis, as the rotis are always the same thickness, but not everyone has the time to make handmade rotis after working all week.
