Just my opinion, wouldn't want younger athletes seeing this and getting discouraged.

The thing is that I'm only 5'6", 130lb, and have 8 1/2 inch wide hands, so for someone my size it's quite good. If I had 9 to 9 1/2 inch hands I could probably throw it quite a bit further. (And not that it matters, but I also ran a 4.45 40yd dash in HS too).
Tell that to Chad Pennington who played in the NFL for many years and always had a very high completion percentage but couldn't throw the ball past 30 yards.

Kids watching this, he’s pretty off on the first few ages you’re still growing if you’re throwing 30 at 14 that’s fine by 17 you could be at 60 if throwing far as can. Don’t let it discourage you if you’re 11 and can only throw 20-25 yards that’s no big deal you’re never gonna have to in a game at that age keep practicing accuracy is more important than throw power anyway in HS.

i'm 17 and can only throw 35 yards on a good day 😐 still always a beautiful spiral with great accuracy tho 👍😭 i should add that the ball does get away from me a bit, and it's not always that accurate, and can even be insanely inaccurate, BUT it is *usually* an accurate ball. 😅

Grip the football with your fingertips and if your hands are too small grab it closer to the tip of the ball. Leave a gap/pocket in your hand between your pointer finger and thumb so that your palm doesn’t touch the ball there
If your still new to qb or football in general you probably cant throw this far by default, so, practice the right mechanics and try to aim for 100 passes a day to build your arm and accuracy up, if you get arm pain maybe take one rest day a week and ice it and go back to it, it will pay off
