Beautiful scenery too! Wish you would show some more of the cool features (like the rock walls and such), but I get that could potentially give up the location as well. Just a thought.

Nice video, always love your trout and Pike videos. Are there any rivers or lakes around you with brown trout? Good luck with the next few trips and well done on such good videos.
There aren't any close rivers with big populations, but I catch browns occasionally while steelhead fishing.

The last time I hooked into a steelhead, it did not end well. My dad and I were using automatic fishermans to catch these steelhead (we still have safe ice in my part of the state). After about an hour or so, one of the autos went off. To keep things simple, this fish was peeling line. I had gotten it close to the hole a couple of times, but in typical big steelhead fashion, it got within 3 feet of the hole and went on a really long run. It eventually went on such a long run, that the rod suddenly went soft, and I watched the last couple inches of my line slip down the hole. I had gotten spooled. The worst part was, I never got to see the fish. 💔💔
Wow that sounds crazy! That sucks that you never saw it. Hopefully next time it's a little more manageable!

Great job with the centerpin reel. I have had a few monumental messups with mine... still learning. You have to pay close attention to the line AT ALL TIMES. Do you have any good stories of centerpin insanity?
I just started using mine, so I don't really have any stories yet. But that line sure can be tricky sometimes!
@@peelindrag113 Let me know if your reel gets so messed up that you have to put your rod between your legs and hand line the fish in. Has happened to me twice with nice pike. LOL
