How to tie a stock for horse riding

Here’s a quick guide on tying a hunting stock
1. Loop around your neck with the button hole at the front
2. Make sure the right side is fractionally longer
3. Put the right over the left and pull up and through (like the first step of tying a shoelace)
So what was the right is now the left!
4. Fold the new left side down over the right and round the back forming a knot
5. Neaten your knot
6. Cross the remaining flaps and pin
7. Add safety pins to the flaps to stop them flapping!
