Ah the youth of today! I was taught how to tie my stock about 20 years ago by an old huntsman using the traditional back to back knot method, I think he would have a heart attack if he saw this! I may however steal your technique in the future as it probably will take half the time and won't require a masters in physics but still looks really smart....

I am not much of a pattern lover on stocks. However you do look good in patterns with all the fine details in them. Patterns seem more Edwardian to me. I love creamy stocks. I am creating a wildly expressive regency dandy look for a photoshoot with strikingly different maximalist elements. I will be using a golden yellow synthetic brocade waistcoat with a shiny creamy stock and a yellow bright toned Top Hat with a light yellow ribbon around it. I also plan to alternate the yellow golden looking Top Hat with an ivory colour Top Hat and a burberry plain shiny stock.
