getting glitch on door 30 on singleplayer means you've encountered game lag. glitch on singleplayer apears when a door/room cannot load, meaning a glitch in the systems code has glitched. Dying from glitch will have a death screen saying, "I cannot find out what you died from". Glitch apearing on single player is a very rare occurance, seeing as you had a error in the systems loading code!

Glitch is (for the most part) unavoidable. It will spawn whenever room generation screws itself up, or if you are left behind by your teamates. (The threshold of getting teleported is 5 rooms.) Rush can be avoided without closets. Some examples of these are vents, alternate rooms, basements, ect. -For the more tecnical side, rush will bee-line to the next door. (He will move in a straight line from door A to door B.) So if you stay out of sight, you will make it. -The same applies for ambush, however his hitbox is bigger and he kills on sight. If you plan to hide without a closet, look away from any entrances, large hallways, or other sightlines to the room you're in. -In a nutshell, Rush or Ambush wont kill you if you are out of their way. The fire in seek's final hallway wont insta-kill you. If you dont know where to go, you can run through the fire. Keep in mind it will take a BIG chunk of your health (roughly 70%) Eyes can be avoided by simply looking down. Wider monitors will enable you to see Eyes without getting damaged. -Eyes will deal 10% of your health per-tick. -Eyes will warn players of their presence with a purple glow and voices. There's an entity that has a 1/20 chance (or 5%) of appearing in a closet. He can spawn even if Rush or Ambush are present. -The entity also has a 1/2000 chance of appearing behind a door. Whenever he appears behind a door, the entity will tint the room red for a couple seconds and will proceed to make it dark. This is what's known as a "Blood Room" The blue light is an entity itself. It's called "Guiding Light". As it's name suggest, it's purpose is to guide players lost in the dark, or in seek's chase. -Guiding Light will spawn in a dark room roughly 20 seconds to 1 minute after it opens. You can also wait out this time outside the dark room. -Guiding Light will make the door glow, aswell as the key if the door has a lock on it. -Guiding Light will also block screech from spawning. Though only temporarily. Living in closets or under beds is a bad idea. There's an entity that will harm you for roughly half your health if you stay in a closet for too long. It will also kick you out of the closet. -If kicked out of the closet, you will not be able to hide for 10 seconds. -The time before the entity attacks gets shorter the farther you are through the doors. Timothy is unnavoidable and has a 1/200 chance of spawning when opening a drawer. He's also really annoying. -Timothy will deal 5% of your health. Which is almost negligable. You can heal yourself using bandages that can be found in drawers. Theres a spot in the library next to the door where Figure wont be able to get you. Looking at the door with the lock on front, its on the *right* side next to the plant. -Keep in mind there's a mechanic that can kill you while standing in that spot. If no player has done the "Heartbeat minigame" for a while, Figure will bee-line to a random player, regardless of the noise they are making. -Whenever the library door is unlocked, Figure will bee-line to any other players still in the library regardless of the noise they are making. He will also become insanely fast. -This also happens in Room 100 after the electric box minigame. There are 2 extra entities not present in the video, but those dont affect gameplay.

Tips for new players :) If the lights flicker, rush is coming, get in a closet! Don’t stay in the closet for too long, Hide will push you out and steal your health. If you hear a ‘psst’ look for Screech and stare at him. In some of the drawers, there are lighters, plasters and vitamins. Ambush is the same as rush, though, he comes back a few times. He only appears near the 90’s doors. Sometimes the eyes (harmless ones) will make the lights flicker, they don’t do harm though. The big eyes glow blue around them, don’t look at them. There’s a code either ‘10MILLION’ or ‘1MILLION’, it will give you some free revives! Hope this helps
another tip: ambush doesn't only appear around door 90+! I’ve had ambush come after only one rush before. My friends did tell me that ambush has to happen once per game though, so be prepared! Edit: 2 people told me that ambush doesn’t have to happen every game, it’s very likely though :)

It happened to me once and then the audio disappeared, Seek disappeared, I had extreme lag after, and the door didn’t slam shut after I finished the chase sequence

15:50 is actually really rare. Glitch usually arrives only in multiplayer servers. It only arrives when you are apart from your group, but it is possible for it to naturally spawn due to an error with room generation. Also, that “turn around” thing is not the glitch. They are two different things. The turn around thing is called Halt, and that thing you experienced at the end of the the seek chase was the Glitch, which was the thing I was talking about up there.

Dan has to be one of the best gamer I have ever seen. He literally played this game how everyone should play it, without watching any tips and trick videos from CZcams and learning from the tips that you are given when you die from an entity.
Fun little fact for Dan, you don’t actually need to hide to escape Figure in Door 50, boi only has to be silent, crouch all the time, and try to stay out of the way of Figure. For Door 100 it’s even simpler, when the cutscene ends immediately run up the stairs, grab the key and unlock the breaker room while Figure is occupied (I usually crouch when I hear him coming to check the second closet) Another fact, you don’t have to turn around during the Halt Chase, when the screen appears just walk backwards until the screen appears again which is when you go forward again
Dan has had some incredible spawn luck; encountering Timothy twice in the same run as well as encountering Glitch IMMEDIATELY after Seek's chase sequence
Glitch is the creature that appears when your map hasn't rendered properly, or you've been left behind by people in your party.( 15:50 ) What you've experienced here is seek having rendering issues, causing the map to not load properly. When you tried to enter the door, it simply did not recognize that you were trying to go through the door, had the rooms overlap, or the rooms after that door were not loaded. :)
doors is a trash game and i hate everyone is playing it its so boring and once you beat it there is nothing to do there are so many better horror games that exist
I am here with info! In the seek chase, when you encountered the glitch, that wasn't supposed to happen, it's a bug that disables the audio for the rest of the run. You encounter the glitch when the next room doesn't load properly, or you are to far from the other players. So to my conclusion, this bug occurs on solo when the room after the seek chase doesn't load properly, but this hasn't happened only once. I once saw a video and they did the exact same thing. It also makes for one hell of an oc! I call him warped seek.
Its not actually only for the seek chase. Its for any room really error and seek arent the same people. When you get close to the room its probably has a checker and if it isnt correct then the glitch appears. I know it doesnt only happen on seek's chase when it happened to me on a different room and from other sources too. Your also correct when you said it teleports you to your teammates after being 5 doors away. This can also be for multiplayer too
So basically what happened with the glitch you found in the Seek chase is that you reached the final door, but it didn’t work properly and didn’t open. The devs of the game programmed the entity Glitch to attack you and teleport you to the next area just in case if a door were to not work properly, though if it is just lag then that doesn’t typically happen. However, never have I ever seen Glitch appear IN the Seek chase and not only get you the badge for encountering him, move you out of the seek chase, not give you Seek’s badge AND remove your sound! That is by far the craziest glitch I’ve seen in this game lol
the glitch only hurts you when your way behind the others but when the next door was not working it will not harm you it will just skip that door if it is not generated correctly

He'll teleport you to a hallway in which you have to keep walking towards him but once it says "turn around turn around turn around" on your screen you have to go the other way everytime it tells you until you get to the next door
Dan got some extremely rare runs, he encountered both The Eyes twice, and Timothy twice in the same run. He also encountered The Glitch right when he beat Seek. He also found Halt, which, in my 3 years of off and on playing, I have never encountered.
Pro tip: at the last level where you open the exit to meet the figure, quickly run past it and go up the stairs RIGHT after the little animation. Figure will be lurking only in the other rooms so you're pretty much safe. So you can get the key and finish the breaker, the figure will only start chasing you right after you finish the breaker. (I started playing doors today and after 3-4 hours of figuring out, I was able to beat it. Super fun and totally recommend to play with friends!)

Woah, it's pretty rare that he encountered the Glitch during Seek's chase. Usually it only shows up if you're far behind your teammates, and sometimes if the room generation bugs out, but it's rare for it to happen during the chase. Plus, he didn't even get the award for beating Seek when it happened, which is interesting.
It didn't give it to him because of Glitch for some reason, maybe doors can't process two achievements at once? Dan did get the achievement after his second run though.

-Screech can appear above or below you, so make sure to look up or down when you hear him.
Glitch is (for the most part) unavoidable. It will spawn whenever room generation screws itself up, or if you are left behind by your teamates. (The threshold of getting teleported is 5 rooms.)
Rush can be avoided without closets. Some examples of these are vents, alternate rooms, basements, ect.
-For the more tecnical side, rush will bee-line to the next door. (He will move in a straight line from door A to door B.) So if you stay out of sight, you will make it.
-The same applies for ambush, however his hitbox is bigger and he kills on sight. If you plan to hide without a closet, look away from any entrances, large hallways, or other sightlines to the
room you're in.
-In a nutshell, Rush or Ambush wont kill you if you are out of their way.
The fire in seek's final hallway wont insta-kill you. If you dont know where to go, you can run through the fire. Keep in mind it will take a BIG chunk of your health (roughly 70%)
Eyes can be avoided by simply looking down. Wider monitors will enable you to see Eyes without getting damaged.
-Eyes will deal 10% of your health per-tick.
-Eyes will warn players of their presence with a purple glow and voices.
There's an entity that has a 1/20 chance (or 5%) of appearing in a closet. He can spawn even if Rush or Ambush are present.
-The entity also has a 1/2000 chance of appearing behind a door. Whenever he appears behind a door, the entity will tint the room red for a couple seconds and will proceed to make it dark. This
is what's known as a "Blood Room"
The blue light is an entity itself. It's called "Guiding Light". As it's name suggest, it's purpose is to guide players lost in the dark, or in seek's chase.
-Guiding Light will spawn in a dark room roughly 20 seconds to 1 minute after it opens. You can also wait out this time outside the dark room.
-Guiding Light will make the door glow, aswell as the key if the door has a lock on it.
-Guiding Light will also block screech from spawning. Though only temporarily.
Living in closets or under beds is a bad idea. There's an entity that will harm you for roughly half your health if you stay in a closet for too long. It will also kick you out of the closet.
-If kicked out of the closet, you will not be able to hide for 10 seconds.
-The time before the entity attacks gets shorter the farther you are through the doors.
Timothy is unnavoidable and has a 1/200 chance of spawning when opening a drawer. He's also really annoying.
-Timothy will deal 5% of your health. Which is almost negligable.
You can heal yourself using bandages that can be found in drawers.
Theres a spot in the library next to the door where Figure wont be able to get you. Looking at the door with the lock on front, its on the *right* side next to the plant.
-Keep in mind there's a mechanic that can kill you while standing in that spot. If no player has done the "Heartbeat minigame" for a while, Figure will bee-line to a random player, regardless of the
noise they are making.
-Whenever the library door is unlocked, Figure will bee-line to any other players still in the library regardless of the noise they are making. He will also become insanely fast.
-This also happens in Room 100 after the electric box minigame.
There are 2 extra entities not present in the video, but those dont affect gameplay.

Glitch usually appears in multiplayer when you're far behind your teammates. He can also appear when a room doesn't load so it teleports you. If it appears because you are far behind you will also take damage.
It doesn't happen often aswell

Tips for new players :)
If the lights flicker, rush is coming, get in a closet!
Don’t stay in the closet for too long, Hide will push you out and steal your health.
If you hear a ‘psst’ look for Screech and stare at him.
In some of the drawers, there are lighters, plasters and vitamins.
Ambush is the same as rush, though, he comes back a few times. He only appears near the 90’s doors.
Sometimes the eyes (harmless ones) will make the lights flicker, they don’t do harm though.
The big eyes glow blue around them, don’t look at them.
There’s a code either ‘10MILLION’ or ‘1MILLION’, it will give you some free revives!

another tip: ambush doesn't only appear around door 90+! I’ve had ambush come after only one rush before. My friends did tell me that ambush has to happen once per game though, so be prepared!
Edit: 2 people told me that ambush doesn’t have to happen every game, it’s very likely though :)

15:50 that is actually really rare. glitch usually spawns in multiplayer if someone gets too far away from the group but he can also spawn in solo if the room doesnt load properly. just so happened that it didnt load properly right at tht end of the seek chase. also if glitch catches you at the end of the seek chase it removes all audio for the rest of the run, hence why you had no audio for the rest of the run. p.s. glitch doesnt kill you, he just teleports you to a room thats actually loaded p.p.s glitch and halt are 2 different entities

It happened to me once and then the audio disappeared, Seek disappeared, I had extreme lag after, and the door didn’t slam shut after I finished the chase sequence

15:50 is actually really rare. Glitch usually arrives only in multiplayer servers. It only arrives when you are apart from your group, but it is possible for it to naturally spawn due to an error with room generation.
Also, that “turn around” thing is not the glitch. They are two different things. The turn around thing is called Halt, and that thing you experienced at the end of the the seek chase was the Glitch, which was the thing I was talking about up there.

Dan has to be one of the best gamer I have ever seen. He literally played this game how everyone should play it, without watching any tips and trick videos from CZcams and learning from the tips that you are given when you die from an entity.
What an astounding adventure in this game
The fact that he got timothy twice in one run is crazy, also dan, the monster that you called the glitch is actually called halt.
Fun little fact for Dan, you don’t actually need to hide to escape Figure in Door 50, boi only has to be silent, crouch all the time, and try to stay out of the way of Figure. For Door 100 it’s even simpler, when the cutscene ends immediately run up the stairs, grab the key and unlock the breaker room while Figure is occupied (I usually crouch when I hear him coming to check the second closet)
Another fact, you don’t have to turn around during the Halt Chase, when the screen appears just walk backwards until the screen appears again which is when you go forward again

Glitch is the creature that appears when your map hasn't rendered properly, or you've been left behind by people in your party.( 15:50 ) What you've experienced here is seek having rendering issues, causing the map to not load properly. When you tried to enter the door, it simply did not recognize that you were trying to go through the door, had the rooms overlap, or the rooms after that door were not loaded. :)
You can get the achievement easily if you have a slower pc, the game just autos you to get it idk why

In the seek chase, when you encountered the glitch, that wasn't supposed to happen, it's a bug that disables the audio for the rest of the run.
You encounter the glitch when the next room doesn't load properly, or you are to far from the other players.
So to my conclusion, this bug occurs on solo when the room after the seek chase doesn't load properly, but this hasn't happened only once.
I once saw a video and they did the exact same thing.
It also makes for one hell of an oc! I call him warped seek.

Its not actually only for the seek chase. Its for any room really error and seek arent the same people. When you get close to the room its probably has a checker and if it isnt correct then the glitch appears. I know it doesnt only happen on seek's chase when it happened to me on a different room and from other sources too. Your also correct when you said it teleports you to your teammates after being 5 doors away. This can also be for multiplayer too

BritishDude the bug is the next room not loading properly, not glitch itself. glitch is a failsafe
So basically what happened with the glitch you found in the Seek chase is that you reached the final door, but it didn’t work properly and didn’t open. The devs of the game programmed the entity Glitch to attack you and teleport you to the next area just in case if a door were to not work properly, though if it is just lag then that doesn’t typically happen. However, never have I ever seen Glitch appear IN the Seek chase and not only get you the badge for encountering him, move you out of the seek chase, not give you Seek’s badge AND remove your sound! That is by far the craziest glitch I’ve seen in this game lol

He'll teleport you to a hallway in which you have to keep walking towards him but once it says "turn around turn around turn around" on your screen you have to go the other way everytime it tells you until you get to the next door

You learned screech’s attack system really quickly (17:24 the reason why glitch appeared is because the room ahead of you didn’t manage to load)

The fact that he almost got through seek, was amazing I can't even do it while playing 30+ times!
Dan got some extremely rare runs, he encountered both The Eyes twice, and Timothy twice in the same run. He also encountered The Glitch right when he beat Seek. He also found Halt, which, in my 3 years of off and on playing, I have never encountered.
Pro tip: at the last level where you open the exit to meet the figure, quickly run past it and go up the stairs RIGHT after the little animation. Figure will be lurking only in the other rooms so you're pretty much safe. So you can get the key and finish the breaker, the figure will only start chasing you right after you finish the breaker. (I started playing doors today and after 3-4 hours of figuring out, I was able to beat it. Super fun and totally recommend to play with friends!)

15:50 This entity is called glitch. Essentially, it's used as a fell safe just in case one of the rooms glitches out, and sometimes it will glitch you out, and tell portney to the next room, with no damage done

Woah, it's pretty rare that he encountered the Glitch during Seek's chase. Usually it only shows up if you're far behind your teammates, and sometimes if the room generation bugs out, but it's rare for it to happen during the chase. Plus, he didn't even get the award for beating Seek when it happened, which is interesting.
It didn't give it to him because of Glitch for some reason, maybe doors can't process two achievements at once? Dan did get the achievement after his second run though.
