  • Without electricity, life as we know it will end. But what could possibly interrupt the electricity in modern societies? If it's not an EMP attack, it will be the sun. Getting hit with by the Sun's massive solar flares that would literally burn the electrical transformers of the power grid and other electronics, is just a matter of time. According to NASA, there is a 12% chance that it will happen in this decade, and the decade after, and the one after that ... until it eventually does.
