Don't get me wrong but... For me it was less sad than Kokichi Muta's death(Mechamaru). I don't know, maybe because I was spoiled or that the whole Shibuya arc is soo heavy but it wasn't so emotional for me. My guy was living his whole life sitting in a bath tub without a half of his body only controlling puppets. And when he finally got a normal body he started showing his power by using ten or more puppets simultaneously and pulling out a fricking Evangelion Unit-01 against Mahito. He even made Mahito use his Domain expansion but... He died. Even after that, I had some hopes to see him again. But then mini-Mechamaru appeared and said that he died. That really got me. Also, it was the train scene with Miwa that got me. Especially, her cry after Kokichi's last words. Of course, Nobara and Nanami's deaths are touching for everyone: from characters to viewers and these deaths are important. I can't deny that. But Kokichi Muta's death just hits different for me. Bro has only 2 fights and 0% winrate but has a special place in my heart.
I get why they’re wasn’t anyone talking over it but I wish we were shown/ got the narration for how nobara couldn’t see the other mahito, and had her guard down from fighting the clone
I know I'm late to this one, but as someone who had Nobara as their favorite character all I could really do this episode is nitpick the changes from the manga that really annoyed me. (Small stuff in a vacuum but it kinda adds up to sour it for me). Don't get me wrong. Fantastic episode and fantastic work from the animators at Mappa. I really do appreciate the time and effort the animators put it and I think they absolutely killed it. Blessed to have this much work being put into the show. But stuff like taking out the "Here you go" panel where she casually drops the nail that initiates the set up for Resonance and replacing it with the more labored and dynamic sequence (Which I can't stress enough, was REALLY nice looking) kinda just get on my nerves. Or like how we didn't get the narration of how Mahito had himself perfectly positioned so Nobara didn't see the double behind him (Which from a lot of people's reactions seems to be unclear). Or the shot of her actually reacting and moving to block (She had her arm up which at least implied that she was competent enough take Yuji's scream and Mahito sprinting directly at her with an open palm as a "Hold on. Somethings up.") Anyway, there's my mini rant. Great video. Hope that despite the issues at Mappa that season 2 can nail (heh) the finale
Those mismatched chairs. Does anyone think this is a reference to "Bokurano" as well? I couldn't help but be reminded of it. If you haven't seen it, it's an incredibly bleak, dark, mecha, anime from approx. 20 years ago. I highly recommend it. The circle of mismatched chairs carries such an ominous aura, by association with my memories with Bokurano, it makes the scene hit just hit a bit little harder.
this is my least fave moment of the entire show so far (anime only for any context that might change mymind later or whatever) but MAN what a fucking waste of an amazing character Nobara has been. She's so cool, so likable, her fighting style such a standout. i feel like she's beengiven maybe 10% of the spotlight she deserved and now she's dead. and the show is far worse off for it. at least Nanami felt like he'd gotten a proper send off and done plenty to affect the story. what a stupid decision by the writers
Agree. She should’ve done a little more at the very least before getting offed. I know the kind of story Gege is trying to tell, but decisions like these are kinda… ehh although I still really like the moment itself in a vacuum
I know your tryna sound edgy and this isn't actually something you care about (or this is your opinion), but honestly. I agree, Itadoris mental breakdowns are so well done, and they make the story a lot better
Everyone talking about Nobara but the animators out real doing work even throwing in references to other anime (bet none of these young bucks even got the reference😏) and the animators adding those empty energy drinkings in the background throwing all kinds of shade.
Man. Consecutive Black Flashes sound less painful than what Gege is cooking. If you like pain and a similar story structure, try reading Chainsaw Man too
for you anime onlys, nobara is honestly likely dead since its been like over 100 chapters and like not a single mention as to what her status is at all
Because this is new for you most shounens barely kill any characters off and have zero stakes like black clover JJK IS DIFFERENT there are stakes and characters WILL die that’s why jjk is the best shounen
She was aiming to be one of the best shonnen girls of all time... but Gege dropped it and she ended up being just like any other DBZ female character "Good but lacking" and is not even because she died, is the lazy way Gege killed her.
I feel like I made this video I went from a fan to being sick of the series. I was hoping for Nobara Megumi and Itadori to become next new special grades. Nobara had the potential to become the lady of death. All she had to do is learn how to pass all her injuries to the onese who cause them. Gege has no vision at all. Basically, he is not thinking of the next generation. The series has no purpose nor a message.

I don’t get why some western shows get such… middling animation quality. I’m assuming it’s just inexperienced artists + rigid directing and maybe time constraints, but I’m not sure tbh. Feel like for how popular invincible is, it should be having moments similar to Yuji this week at the very least.
She could have killed him with support. He was very weakened by her ability, so another combo of her and Yuji might have been fatal for Mahito and he had to stop that. She's like that hero card that seems weak but is actually strong if played right.
it hurts cause Nobara felt different than most girls in a main trio in anime. she had a lot of depth, and relatability. rip queen.

Last week’s episode had a little better buildup. He was pretty quiet this time up until she died lmao.
My favourite content creator atm, keep it up g💪🏿
High praise. I’ll do my best 🫡
O TA QIFSHA MOTREN N’PIDH 😂
I get why they’re wasn’t anyone talking over it but I wish we were shown/ got the narration for how nobara couldn’t see the other mahito, and had her guard down from fighting the clone
Yeah the narration has been surprisingly lacking in some moments recently. So long as they get the big one next week I’ll still be content though.
Ochkay, so she was not able to see the other Mahito version running towards her?
@@WizzTizzlmness yes she could see mahito running at her but thought it was still the clone, and couldn’t see the clone behind the real mahito
Ochkay, @@jonathanbanning9558.
Still strangely displayed in the anime, related to possible reaction time and maybe the distance.
Somethings up.")
Anyway, there's my mini rant. Great video. Hope that despite the issues at Mappa that season 2 can nail (heh) the finale
Ok the albanian line in the end came out of nowhere lmao very good job bro
"Since Gojo's hate crime back in JJK Zero" LMFAO
You've solidly earned a new subscriber. Keep working on the great content.
I’ll do my best sir 🫡
@@Orion__no Great, can't wait to see the next content you release!
dat stunlock tho
This video was good bro, subbed
Bunch of weightless characters with weightless deaths accompanied by flashbacks
Im a manga reader but yeah i agree they super wasted her character. She had so much potential.
Agree. She should’ve done a little more at the very least before getting offed. I know the kind of story Gege is trying to tell, but decisions like these are kinda… ehh although I still really like the moment itself in a vacuum
oh 100%, this scene by itself worked really well as deathscenes go. it's more how much could have been done beforehand@@Orion__no
"Your sister is a very kind person, mahito" 💀💀💀💀💀💀
gege did say at the start of the manga , its not going to have a happy ending
The episode of yuji crying on the floor hit me hard 😢
When they added her body going limp broke me.
I LOVED IT! I LOVE ALL OF THE DEATHS! The way Yuji breaks bit by bit, the manga shows that even better
Manga reader: Don't worry, it gets worse.
LMFAO facts
The airport treatment. WHEN I CATCH YOU GEGE
You really didn't just play you're my special after speaking on nanami's heartbreaking death💀😭🏃♀

She’s never confirmed dead…
…but wait! There is just so much MORE ahead for you to…experience. 😈
“Why does Gege do this”
me: *hysterical laughter*
Man. Consecutive Black Flashes sound less painful than what Gege is cooking.
If you like pain and a similar story structure, try reading Chainsaw Man too
I loveee chainsaw man. A few of my friends arent caught up so I've avoided talking about so as not to make videos they cant really watch
THE ALBANIAN LMAOOOOOO
for you anime onlys, nobara is honestly likely dead since its been like over 100 chapters and like not a single mention as to what her status is at all
So many chapters already, since this part of the fight.
¿Is it possible she is undergoing special training, with new, different tools?
At this point enough of the openings secrets have been revealed to me that I just can’t watch it anymore it’s too traumatising 😭
🎶it might seem crazy what I’m about to say🎶
Guess who's back , back again , NOBARA IS BACK
6:45 The text on this screen is so realsies!! (I love girls doing girly things too)
Your humor is amazing, that alone is sub worthy.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the rest of what im cooking.
The series has no purpose nor a message.
bro... i LITERALLY FELT depression SINK INTO MY BONES as ( i FUCKING HOPE) kugisaki is not dead i have NEVER FELT THAT IN MY LIFE.....please be okay....(likely not) but please jusut GAHHH the last 5 EP of JJK broke me in ways i'll never understand... like fuck bro...GOOD SHIT JJK BUT DON'T DO THAT EVER A G A I N!!
You think that's bad? Wait until you see what happens to Gojo.
Knowing both her status in the manga and how this episode handled it, it hurt.
Gege: main character my ass, y'all need to survive or you die
Except for megumi sukuna wants him alive
She never stood out to me ngl
Don't worry, she will come back
Gege is the best creator of JJK because the average anime doesn't have like this anime and gives emotions to people. i love JJK anime.
THREE YEARS. three years since the chapter came out and nobara dies in the manga
That is a long time
Finally the speculation of Nobara coming back will be laid to rest.
As a full time traffic attourney I really hope gege manages to find a way to add a lawyer character they would be my favourite 👀
😊
Oddly specific…
😅
i swear gege just had to kill one of the most badass, in depth characters just to pull the heart strings of my heart
Man imagine Invincible with this level of animation... such a fever dream lol
I don’t get why some western shows get such… middling animation quality. I’m assuming it’s just inexperienced artists + rigid directing and maybe time constraints, but I’m not sure tbh. Feel like for how popular invincible is, it should be having moments similar to Yuji this week at the very least.
When se said warukunakatta it broke me
After some time I started to think that Gege just likes us to suffer. JJK is just like drug addiction, you can't stop even it hurts you.
RIP Queen :( never thought I'd see it animated. I am grieving once again
*Nobara dies*
"You are my special"
*Itadori crying his eyes out having a existential crisis*
"You are my special"
sometimes i wonder if gege likes making his readers cry
as long as we dont let them find out our other favourites...
She could have killed him with support. He was very weakened by her ability, so another combo of her and Yuji might have been fatal for Mahito and he had to stop that. She's like that hero card that seems weak but is actually strong if played right.
