@@williambuchko5797 It may be a joke to you but the WWE is broadcast weekly to 180 countries and viewed by up to 1 billion. It has 11 million weekly viewers in the US while the highest UFC WORLDWIDE ppv EVER was only 4.3 million. The WWE has a net worth approximately 50% higher than that of the UFC. You may not like their product, but the WWE is a money making machine and has been for ages. If Pat could only pick either the WWE or the UFC andmaking money was his intent, it would be the WWE without hesitation.

@@danev2001 That is a common debate, but the UFC pays more than any other MMA organization and the average salary for a fighter in the UFC is about 4.5 times that of the average salary of a professional boxer in the US. It's not even close.
The UFC hasn't "lowered" salaries, they have steadily risen. The salaraies have been debated for years and no one choosing to become a professional MMA fighter is unaware of what it pays. If you know the pay and work towards that job as a goal, then sign a contract for a set rate to show and to win, how is anyone surprised at what they make? It was set in the contract that was signed before their first fight. If the contract is not acceptable, don't sign it and move on to something else. Thats how pretty much every other job works.

Is everyone on this channel a bubba who doesn't know anything about MMA? Jesus man, your comment made me nearly throw up. Seriously. I love that casuals are clamoring to get on board of our sport. But show some F***ing respect. MMA has NOTHING to do with pro wrestling or football.... Listen Bubba, if you zig, when you should have zagged, then guess what happens? People all over the world get to watch you literally LOSE YEARS OF YOUR LIFESPAN, all while you're sleeping in your underwear.... To put it in a different context. Next time you're in Starbucks waiting for your Super Tall Soyboy Latte with Extra Estrogen, just imagine punching the guy in front of you. Now imagine that guy turing and pushing his fist throw your skull... now imagine that happening in front of the whole world while you're essentially naked. FFS dude

The problem is that Pat knows less about MMA than my gf. And hopefully he doesn't make the mistake of talking about fighters the same way people talk about fake wrestling -- because it's not the same and there are plenty of fighters who will kindly remind you of that. That said, Pat is hella charismatic -- so if he does the work and shows respect (like Jon Anik did), it could be dope.
