@@turntableable when you are putting yourself out in the public eye (and making money off of that behavior), some amount of "bullies/creeps" come with the territory. And there may not be anything inherently wrong with posing in a bikini, but you can't do that consistently (and benefit greatly from it financially) and complain about being a controversial figure. She's trying to play the victim while benefitting from all the attention. If she really doesn't like how people are talking about her, she would stop putting her almost naked body out for the world to see.

She was a middle of the road crossfitter who has managed to build a platform around her body and then getting mad that people have opinions about her body but only cares about the opinions people have when they aren’t what she wants to hear. All the people who commented good things on her posts aren’t being called out for commenting while Hawaii was burning. Only if you said something she didn’t want to hear. I am such a Dani Speegle Fan I freaking love her. Watching Dani on the Titan Games is what gave me the courage to finally start Crossfit. I will always be a Dani fan, sadly I do feel like the interview did sound like sour grapes. I can't run for shit but I'm strong AF considering I'm only 2 years into Crossfit and even I know that I need to get better at running, because just being strong does not make me a well rounded Crossfit athlete. Do I love her body, damn straight, do I think crumble cookies represents health and fitness, nope. I just want Dani back on the competition floor, being a well rounded Athlete, who isn't riding the line. And I think all the "other" shit that she has going on, has got in the way of that.

The back and forth at the beginning had a really good vibe & flow to it, and it was genuinely, quite entertaining! I can't say it was consistent all the way thru the video, but overall this was fun and possibly a way better response/discussion to the subject matter. I enjoy a good aesthetically pleasing picture as the next man, but prefer good, informative, inspiring, content more.
Never been a fan of speegle. Never understood the draw people have to her. Never felt she was good for the crossfit community. Always felt like she had an alternative agenda, so no authenticity. She’s built her own empire though … so props. Her approach just feels disingenuous… which possibly adds the backlash she receives from time to time.
