Nothing wrong with doing a different approach on deck techs from time to time, but what i really need is an episode named "You don't know how to build a Agent Frank Horrigan Deck", mutie!

I prefer the more in depth videos but I'll enjoy regardless

Love it!! I was looking for a Massacre Girl List. The Main deck im looking at just now is Zedruu as the fun of playing older strange cards is so appealing Id love to see a list for Zedruu but otherwise keep up the content best deck creator out there

Love your videos and you've definitely been a huge inspiration for me as a deck builder but I personally feel that you should try a couple things with your videos. Instead of talking about a cluster of commanders you could make more general videos about deckbuilding philosophy as a whole in combination with your videos about specific commanders. I think the 3 commander format is a little clunky and doesn't give me personally enough about any of the commanders to get me excited about them. I still make sure to watch all the way through because I love the content you're making here! Rock on and keep putting out these high quality gems!

Am i missing something because the 3 decklists you linked don't have 100 cards?

Each of those lists are what I would call the "core" of those decks, not full lists. I talked about it more with the Massacre Girl deck, but those open slots are for experimentation.

What would you say are the main differences between Type A and Type B commanders without partner? Do you ever build as a mix, or just stick to the two styles?

I go into more detail in my Zimone and Dina build- linked here- but I'll summarize: (czcams.com/video/JuLWJL_xDa8/video.htmlsi=sByFlbZ09GP1RMmd)
Regardless of whether it's partners or not, the *short explanation* is that in one of these decks (type A), the deck exists to serve the commander, while in the other (type B), the commander exists to serve the deck.
That can take many different forms though. Some type A commanders are entirely *too* reliant on their commanders, and are completely shut down by commander removal, so there's even lots of diversity among decks of the same type.
I think these labels are most helpful when doing threat assessment and figuring out when it would be profitable to spend your removal (and how much protection you should run). Because Type A commanders are a big piece of the deck's strategy, removing them can be a huge setback for that player. But because Type B commanders are typically focused on Resource Management (ramp, draw, removal) and your gameplan doesn't usually depend on them sticking, pointing a removal spell at them isn't likely to be a good idea (however, just as you can over-rely on type A, you can also over rely on type B, which is really easy to do if that Resource Management is about making spells easier/free to cast.) Because of this, Type B commander decks are often very resilient, and by far most cEDH decks use Type B commanders, but don't let that influence how you think about their power.
To answer your last question, it's not necessarily a prescription for how to build the deck- it's a description of the commander *and its typical play patterns.* A commander that really just draws cards isn't going to win the game itself, but it will pretty easily find other cards that can win the game, at which point I have to ask "do I counterspell the tutor or counterspell what they tutored for?" Usually it's more correct to hit the latter. The fact that this label also helps me build a smoother, more resilient deck with a focused direction is an observation about how play patterns form around commanders, not a hard rule that I stick to in order to build decks.
      Thanks for watching!

@@aegisgamingofficial2178Thanks for the reply! I noticed that the type A/B tags were a later addition to the graphics, so I had to make sure.
I think the distinction is a pretty solid lens for scrutinizing overall strategy. After some tallying, I find that I'm naturally close to a 50/50 split, although a pair of my decks are a bit hard to categorize. Xenagos God of Revels is tough to nail down since the Xenagos is one big dumb pump spell, but the threats are tailored for him. Brokkos is in a similar boat, and is somewhat similar to your Otrimi list.
Btw in case you didn't know, "Curie, Emergent Intelligence" is a newly made second copy of Cold-Eyed Selkie for Otrimi.

@@BlackGarland Hmm. I'd say Xenagos is a Type A commander. Many Voltron decks are type A, but there's a subgenre of Voltron I call "Folk Hero Voltron" that gets pretty close to the border of Type B territory (another example might be Rafiq of the Many), and I'd definitely put Xenagos in that category.
Thanks for the tip! I'll try and make room for it in the list 😊
