Even now but he get a litle older now thats why he can't play like what he do in his young age
He still is. Athleticism may fade but IQ doesn't. There's probably no guy in the NBA except coach pop or brad stevens with a better IQ than Rondo.

rondo is one of the greatest pgs to play, numbers don't show but he's so unselfish he'll never put the points up to be considered, he's as smart as Andre Miller

A huge part of it is having a knack. There's no question about that. But, it can also definitely be improved with the recognition of concepts, and frankly just a ton of playing experience!
it can be improved by basektball IQ definetly but i think guys like magic and nash who do it at the elite level have it naturally

what he does with garnett before is what he's doing with AD right now but with a lot of speed, quickness, and athleticism. also he's surrounded with shooters that can space the floor so that Rondo and AD can do a complete 2 man game. and also i can see that whenever they need a quick bucket, they go to Holiday just like what Paul Pierce used to do in Boston. and a big factor right now why Rondo is so effective is Alvin Gentry lets Rondo call some of the offense and defense just like Doc did in boston. i hope they'll do well against the warriors after they're just being slept on.

A lot of the things in this video are done by other guards. Key is to see a lot of his play to know he does them more consistently than others. It describes him as a really ideal play-maker and team leader. He seems (seemed) to have an excellent height/length (maybe 6'3") for quickness, the short and inside games without having to do weird things. Add the passing to that and it's a complete package. Few people have all that.

Before Curry, Lillard, Wall, Irving, Kemba, Teague, Harden, Westbrook etc All rose up. During the late 2000s up til early 2010s, It used be ONLY 3 battling for the BEST PG in the NBA. Those were Rondo, Rose and Chris Paul. 3 are like more all around players, all 3 can score how they want, insanely high IQ, ball handling to perfection, great finishers, great passers. Oh yah, They all can play GREAT defense. Now, theyre all basically forgotten or labeled "Choker" or "Overrated". The modern PG's I mentioned aint got shit to those 3 Cuz they're the ones that battled for that spot til bandwagons and Analytics ruin their career and legacy (Except Rose)
